Guest Post: A Lot for so Little

Can you tell the difference when the temperature moves up or down by a single degree?  If you are exceptionally sensitive you might be able to.  What about half a degree change?  Can you detect the change?  That is getting more difficult.

How about 0.2 of one degree or 0.05 of a degree?   You would never notice, no matter how concentrated the effort to discern the difference.  Simply impossible to tell and almost impossible to measure, even with sophisticated equipment.

The world is being asked to believe that the huge sacrifice involved in meeting emissions targets is worth it because it is going to save the planet.  The reality is that it is not going to make a scrap of difference.  All the high level conferences, the jet setting by “celebrities”, the demands by the UN, the raucous and vitriolic demands on the SJW’s on the streets are about gaining something we cannot feel or measure.

If the technical data show so little gain the question is why bother?  As President Trump discovered its about making the USA pay while the Chinese and Indians laugh like a drain, pulling down capitalism, wrecking the economies of the west, setting centralised control, and  submitting to socialist intervention.

Here is the information supplied by Copenhagen Consensus Center and the Copenhagen Business School.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
