Kiwi Student describes thief and gets accused of racism

While reading the AUT Facebook page I came across a comment that took my breath away. It is a cold water in the face reminder that some New Zealand students have been as brainwashed as the ones we read about on American campuses.

An AUT student posted on the AUT Facebook page that her Bluetooth speaker had been stolen. She had a Korean surname and from her icon, she looked ethnically Korean. The only reason why I am even mentioning her possible ethnicity is because she was accused of racism by another student who by her surname and appearance appears to be ethnically Pakeha/European.

Her post seems totally reasonable to me. She provided a description of the offenders in the hope that someone would recognise them. The response she received from an indoctrinated example of New Zealand’s educational system was not only not sympathetic it was accusatory.
