Labour appears to have broken immigration laws, but have they also perverted the course of justice?

It looks like Labour is finally realising they’ve broken some laws:

Two of Labour’s interns may have broken immigration visa rules, the party says.

Party secretary Andrew Kirton said in the course of sorting out the international volunteer programme the party had become aware two of the 85 interns may not have held the visa necessary to take part in the programme.

“Our understanding is that all participants were advised of the need to obtain working holiday visas.”

The two individuals had both left the programme last week while the Labour Party’s head office was still taking control of the programme.

Spirited out before anyone could talk to them, more like.

“Labour Party Head Office has confirmed that all volunteers who will remain in New Zealand on the programme have a valid working holiday visa,” Kirton said in a statement.

Yeah, because they’ve cleansed the slave programme.

My sources tell me they quickly looked at the immigration status and exited all those who might have problems. That is clearly perverting the course of justice.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.
