Theresa May’s four point plan to defeat Islamic terrorism is a wet bus ticket

The Prime Minister said the three attacks in the past three months were not directly connected but were linked by the ‘the single evil ideology of Islamist extremism’| DailyMail on Facebook

Theresa May is not the first British PM to face terrible odds.

Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s famous speech ‘We Shall Fight on the Beaches,’ was delivered to the House of Commons on June 4, 1940 when he had to explain that the British effort in World War II was not going well and that it was possible that the Germans might invade Britain. Today, Islamic terrorists are already inside Britain and the British fight against Islamic terrorism is not going well as terror attacks are increasing.

A gifted orator,Churchill knew he must convince the British people that victory would come someday. When Churchill gave his speech, the U.S. had not yet entered World War II. He references his hope that “the New World,” meaning the U.S., would join the war.

An extract from his speech is below:

…Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may
fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag
or fail.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

In contrast, the four-point plan to defeat what Mrs May describes as an “extremist Islamist ideology” lacks power and determination.

Mrs May outlined her four point plan:

  • Defeating the extreme Islamist ideology to make them understand ‘pluralistic British values’ are superior
  • Ending the ‘safe space’ online for the plotting of terror attacks
  • Continuing military action against ISIS terrorists in Iraq and Syria
  • Tougher prison sentences at home for terrorist offences

Imagine if Churchill wrote the following four-point plan to defeat an ” extremist Nazi ideology

  • Defeating the extreme Nazi ideology to make them understand ‘pluralistic British values’ are superior
  • Ending the ‘safe space’ on the airwaves  for the plotting on radio of military attacks
  • Continuing military action against Nazi soldiers overseas
  • Tougher prison sentences at home for Nazi soldiers and sympathisers

Another way to compare the two leaders is to turn May’s four-point plan into a speech.

We shall defeat them by making them understand that ‘pluralistic British values’ are superior, we shall fight the plotting of terror attacks by ending the ‘safe space’ online, we shall fight ISIS terrorists in Iraq and Syria, we shall fight terrorist offences at home with tougher prison sentences, we shall defend our Island…

The war against terrorism needs to be on a proper war footing. Britain needs internment camps or a modern version of them. British intelligence already knows who is on the terror list. In one single night, they could swoop on the homes of all the key people and arrest them. They could freeze all their bank accounts and confiscate all their technology. It is way past time that the British military took the war to the terrorist cells inside Britain. They need to cut the head off the snake by removing all the leaders inside Britain, including the ” extremist Imams” who are feeding and indoctrinating the locals. You cannot fight an effective war by being politically correct. If Mrs May wants to win both the election and the war against Islamic terrorism she needs the determination of Winston Churchill and the will to do what needs to be done.
