No parole for you!

I for one am heartily sick of that despicable ratbag Philip John Smith taking liberties with all the opportunities in our justice system for him to be the centre of attention.

Murderer, paedophile and jail-breaker Phillip John Smith has been denied parole because he still has a high risk of offending.

Smith is serving a life sentence for the 1995 murder of a man whose son he had been sexually abusing.

He was also convicted last year for escaping prison and fleeing to Brazil in 2014.

A Parole Board report said Smith was still rated a high risk for sexual violence and general re-offending.

Gee.  You think?   Thank goodness the parole board for once had the power and insight to stop him going walkabouts.

However, the report reveals his prison security classification has been changed from high to medium/low.

Aaaaaand, there we go again.

The board said Smith remained in voluntary segregation, which made it difficult for him to take part in rehabilitation programmes.

Sadly Phil is smart enough to realise that his options will be severely cut short if he makes his good person available to the general prison population.

No parole.  No early release.  Nothing.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
