Still think we are safe from Islamic terrorism in NZ?

So, do you believe the liberal elites who say we are safe in New Zealand from Islamic terrorism, just so long as we continue to submit and become dhimmis?

Think again…terror is getting closer and closer:

Islamic State has stepped up its calls for “lone wolf” attacks in Australia and other Western countries, with its Nashir media arm calling on supporters to rise up this week and a Ramadan speech from the terror group’s official spokesman urging the same earlier this month.

Late on Wednesday night, Nashir shared a post calling for attacks in Australia, America, Canada, Europe and Russia.

It followed a similar call shared by the same media agency on Monday, which urged supporters in Australia, America, Canada, France and Russia to “put poison in the meals of the Crusaders”.

Separately, unofficial Islamic State media group al-Battar distributed a video that used a photo of Melbourne terrorist Yacub Khayre — who killed one man and took an escort hostage before police shot him dead in Brighton this month — when urging similar attacks.

“We’ve had more (of those calls) in the last six months than we’ve had before,” Greg Barton, who holds the chair in Global Islamic Politics at Deakin University, said yesterday.

“I don’t know how much that’s driven by the strength of Australian networks or if it just reflects their global insurgency plans. There’s a midpoint between an act of desperation and a sign of real capacity. Part of their toolkit is to put the call out there to try to crowdsource something, to get a response.

“They don’t know what they’re going to get in response, but they’ll keep on trying. It’s like an email scam; it costs very little to put out a whole lot of calls and then if they get some response it’s worked for them.”

Wednesday’s call was made on encrypted communication platform Telegram and was directed at supporters unable to join the Middle East conflict.

“O you who can’t make Hijrah (migration) to the land of Khilafa (caliphate)!” the post shared on Nashir’s “mirrored” Telegram channels said. “O soldiers and supporters of the Caliphate in America, Europe, Russia, Australia, Canada and every part of the world! Stand up! Make a plan, rely upon Allah, wage operations and kill as many infidels as you can in the land of kufur (disbelief).”

During the holy month of Ramadan, Islamic State’s official spokesman Abu al-Hassan al-Muhajir made a similar statement.

“To the brethren of faith and belief in Europe, America, Russia, Australia, and others,” he said in Arabic, according to one translation, “your brothers in your land have done well so take them as role models and do as they have done.”

And some people want us to take more refugees and increase immigration from countries that sponsor terrorism.
