The contract we have with Google to run their adverts so we make a bit of money includes an iron-clad promise that we do not promote the clicking of ads. Although I understand the humour behind promoting the clicking of certain ads at this stage of the election, moderators will at best delete the comment and at worst side-line you until after the election.
All it takes is for someone to complain to Google about it and it risks our ability to pay for the blog. As a result, we have zero sense of humour and we have zero tolerance policy on this issue. One of those “ignorance is no defence” things.
