Brian Rudman and the NZ Herald had a good helping of Humble pie this morning

Well, well, well…what do we have here?

Apology by Brian Rudman and the NZ Herald to Judith Collins’ husband

The NZ Herald published an article authored by Brian Rudman ,”Judith Collins’ Pipeline to Promotion Springs Leak”, on Wednesday 20 September 2017. The article made untrue statements about Judith Collins’ husband. Brian Rudman and the NZ Herald unreservedly apologise to Judith Collins’ husband.

That was after an egregious article by Rudman who basically accused David Wong-Tung of causing the fuel crisis. That article was then spread like wildfire amongst the left wing who are still accusing him of involvement.

They should be very careful repeating what is now admitted by the NZ Herald and Brian Rudman as being untrue and therefore highly defamatory.

It does make one wonder what other manufactured stories have these clowns made up and gotten away with.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
