A Consent App. Thanks Modern Feminism!

A ‘sexual consent’ app is being designed which claims to be a binding agreement which would stand up in court.

But lawyers are sceptical, with one calling it “offensive” and its validity meaningless.

Legal Fling is an app which allows partners to note down their dos and don’ts before having sex.

A person can choose ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for different categories, including photo and video, use condom, STD-free, explicit language and BDSM.

A request is then sent to the phone of their chosen partner through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or text, who can agree or disagree to the terms.

There’s also the fact that the other person can simply claim they were forced to say yes on the app.

[…]The app uses blockchain technology, a form of public record also used for bitcoin, which cannot be digitally changed after submitting.

Obviously everyone has the right to change their mind, and no always means no – but it is unclear how this fits in to the premise of the app.

The app’s website also claims it can be used as a safeguard if you need “further down the road”.

Obviously, this app is aimed at men who think that with every sexual encounter there’s a good chance of ending up arrested the next day on false rape charges. But how did these men end up thinking like this? Modern feminists.

There’s a kind of cognitive dissonance with modern feminism in that they demand equality with men, which is all fair and good, so long as natural differences are accounted for. I mean, let’s face it, on average a female firefighter will never be as good as a male one. I also believe that women have natural advantages that make them, on average, better nurses than men.

But here’s where the cognitive dissonance comes in. When it comes to sexual relations modern feminists demand that women be treated like delicate little petals. Every sex act between a man and a woman is rape unless proven otherwise. Consent can’t just be implied but must not only be explicit but enthusiastic. Pity sex? Rape. Best-of-a-bad-bunch sex? Rape. Basically, nothing less than “yes, yes, yes!!!” will do.

As for alcohol and consent, forget it. Obviously if a woman’s drunk then she can’t consent even though many women have drunk sex and then the next day have sober sex with their “rapist”. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome!

Strangely enough, the rule doesn’t apply if you’re a guy. So if you wake up with a hangover and next to Medusa, tough. You’re not a rape victim. Your beer-googles just worked too well.

This kind if rubbish is one of the big reasons I believe women are leaving feminism in droves. Reasonable people can see it for the extremist nonsense that it is. But perception is reality and whether a consent app sells depends on whether men as a whole think there is a good percentage of women who think like modern feminists.

Personally, I don’t think we’ve reached that stage. Modern feminism has failed to convince me that when it comes to sex that women are the delicate little petals modern feminists try to portray them as. In other words, I hope this consent app crashes and burns.
