Priyanca Radhakrishnan is a Labour list MP who supports BDS

If you watch this 2014 video you will hear Labour list MP Priyanca Radhakrishnan calling for a halt to any government investments in Israel such as our superannuation fund. I think it is important for voters to know that an apparent supporter of boycott, divest and sanction activism against Israel is now part of our coalition government and may be pushing for our government to further worsen its relationship with Israel.

Priyanca Radhakrishnan

Labour List MP Priyanca strongly believes that everyone – regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality or socio-economic status – should have the opportunity to live with dignity.[…]

Unless they are Israelis.

It also means that everyone should feel safe both in their homes and on the streets.

Unless they are Israelis.

[…] Priyanca has lived and worked overseas, and around Aotearoa NZ. She engages well with people across communities and loves meeting new people.

Unless they are Israelis.

She has spent her work life advocating on behalf of groups of people and lobbying government for positive change.

Unless they are Israelis.

For Priyanca, politics is about choices. She believes that decision-making should be community-led and should lead to better outcomes for everyone, not just the privileged few.[…]

Unless they are Israelis.

Politics is about choice and Priyanca Radhakrishnan has chosen to stand against Israel, the only truly liberal and democratic country in the middle east, where women and gays have equal rights and there is freedom of religion. She stands with Palestinians who are ruled by a terror organisation and who voted in a President who is now in the eleventh year of his four-year term as no further elections have been held. They have no freedom of religion, people suspected of working for Israel or of being gay are dragged behind motorbikes and Hamas terrorises not only Israeli civilians but their own people as well.

Score settling Palestinian gunmen drag the body of a man, suspected of working for Israel, through Gaza City on Nov. 20. Palestinian gunmen shot dead six alleged collaborators in the Gaza Strip who “were caught red-handed,” according to a security source quoted by the Hamas Aqsa radio.
