Sledge of the Day

Julie Anne Genter is a government minister and she was tweeting about the shonky Oxfam report:

Can you imagine the outcry if that was a National party minister tweeting profanities? Or Donald Trump? Donald Trump says shitholes are shitholes and everyone loses their shit over it. JAG says something and no one says a thing.

What JAG doesn’t understand is that capitalism is the only system that has lifted people out of poverty. Socialism only drives people into poverty.

Judith’s sledge is brilliant because it shows two things. Firstly, that MPs like JAG still think they are in opposition and can say whatever the hell they like on Twitter with zero repercussions. Secondly, that they have no solutions only slogans.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
