It’s called resting bitch face

The line of questioning in Sunday night’s ’60 Minutes Australia’ interview appeared to leave Jacinda Ardern visibly uncomfortable at times

I read an unintentionally funny article about how poor Jacinda (who is the equal of any man and can juggle motherhood and the most difficult job in the world ) was made uncomfortable (according to the Stuff journalist) by an Australian journalist who asked the wrong questions.

On the one hand, our New Zealand media focus more on what she is wearing, her pregnancy and her relationship with Gayford than they do on policy, but when an Aussie journalist does it then God help him. According to the Stuff article, he made the poor petal (who is totally up to the rough and tumble of politics) uncomfortable. A ‘Herald’ article, however, revealed that our PM was not upset at all.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she was taken aback, but not offended by a controversial 60 Minutes interview with her that critics panned as “repugnant” and “patronising”

To be fair though, I think that the Stuff reporter simply misinterpreted Jacinda’s expressions. It wasn’t that she was uncomfortable; she simply suffers from an affliction called resting bitch face.

Visibly uncomfortable or is it a case of resting bitch face?
