Newshub now acting as bad as CNN

Newshub are fast emulating the fake news outlets from the US and have launched a fake news attack on Judith Collins based on her awesome tweet yesterday.

National MP and party leader hopeful Judith Collins claims she told a Labour supporter she stabs people “from the front”.

Ms Collins says she made the comment over the phone from her Papakura electorate office on Friday when the woman called her to say “stop backstabbing Jacinda”.

“No problem. I stab from the front,” she said with a winking emoji.

Obviously, Newshub don’t know what a wink is meant to signify. Collins didn’t make the comment to a Labour supporter over the phone… she made it on Twitter, but that doesn’t stop Newshub interviewing their keyboard.

Newshub have clearly decided to act as a player in the leadership contest, and it is clear that they are acting for Amy Adams and against Judith Collins.

No apology as yet from the fake news outlet Newshub.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
