If a school had done it, heads would roll

Guest Post:

Any school in New Zealand that allowed what happened at the Labour party PARTY would be massacred in the media, held to account by the Ministry of Education and the principal would be liable for prison and serious fines and s/he and the board would in all likelihood have been stood down.

And not telling the principal, in this case Ardern, could only mean they are regarded as being entirely incompetent.

This should result in a number of resignations. If it doesn’t, their ability to have any moral leadership has simply crumbled to dust.

To make matters worse they are also inconsistencies in their lie story about who was in charge and responsible for what happened. Here are two inconsistent lines they have run with:

  • We have decided that Young Labour will no longer run these camps
  • (To Lisa Owen) This was not organised by the Labour party; it was organised by Young Labour.

You cannot have it both ways: either you have the authority to tell Young Labour what to do (ie they are a part of your organisation and you are responsible)… or you don’t.

They are hopeless.
