Penny Hulse thinks business class travel is now a human right

A proposal to ban Auckland Council staff from flying business class on work trips has failed to get off the ground, with one councillor describing the suggestion as ‘inhumane’.

So, Penny Hulse thinks business class travel is now a human right. Anything less is inhumane.

While she is swilling herself silly in her business class trough seat, her ratepayers will be slumming it in their inhumane economy class seats.

They seem to be able to manage OK at the other end of the trip travelling in economy class, but not these troughers.

She was supported by Linda Cooper who moaned that cattle class was dreadful for her poor 6’2″ husband, and Phil Goff who is so entitled he can’t conceive of ever having to travel below business class.

If ever there were three out-of-touch councillors who needed a good rinsing it is these three.
