View from your window: Competition photo

Today’s view from your window is the competition photo for the month where the person who can provide the most details wins a wonderful prize of 1 kg of high quality coffee beans from our wonderful sponsor, Bluburd from Coffee Vice.

We want to know where in the world this photo was taken, which building it was taken from and which floor and which window?

Yesterday’s photos:

Not strictly views from a window, but I thought I would send these never the less. They are a couple of photos from a place I have visited a number of times over the last year or so. I have been meaning to send some photos of this place for a while, even before the view from my window posting, as the location as a particular relevance to this blog.

These are photos taken in Whale Stream!
Whale Stream is located on the highway to Mt Cook.
The views attached are:
1 – looking up the stream from the narrow section in the lower reaches taken 8 April last year;
2. – a view of the bluffs on the north side of the valley taken from the upper reaches yesterday around 2.00 in the afternoon. Two areas are circled. There were 9 Tahr in the area on the left, and a further 2 in the area on the right

Please put VFYW in the subject line or competition (if you think it has enough visual clues for our monthly competition).
