Why is Bill Cashmore bullying everyone?

Last week the tip line had comments flowing in about ‘Bully’ Bill Cashmore attending an event in Rodney.

His conduct was so bad that he was told he shouldn’t speak to women the way he was, and he generally pissed off everyone.

There seems to be a huge disconnect between ‘Bully Bill’, who represents a right-wing ward but is acting like an uncouth left-wing thug, and reality.

Franklin don’t want a bully and a thug doing the left’s dirty work, yet that is what Bully Bill is doing. He seems to take pride in impersonating a union bovver boy, or maybe he is genuinely a left-wing thug representing the wrong area.

Word has it that Cashmore spent the summer before Goff became Mayor plotting with Goff about turning Auckland into a left-wing paradise.

Goff has found a useful idiot to do his bidding, with the huge benefit of that useful idiot coming from a right-wing ward.

The problem is other councillors are now utterly sick of it and so are the local board members. They are speaking.

Watch this space; this promises to get real ugly.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
