Dear Labour: Your policy is a breach of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Dear Labour party

I draw your attention to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

In particular, I draw your attention to article 26(3) which reads:

Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children.

In seeking to close Charter schools, you are depriving parents of this right, and therefore you are in breach of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

I would urge Charter schools to take legal action against the government based on this very clear breach of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This action should include a court injunction against the closure of the schools.
