Ten lies from FIANZ about the riots at the Gaza border fence

The press release from FIANZ that was published on Friday contains not less than ten lies.

The headline of the press release from the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand that was published on Friday says that New Zealand Muslims condemn Israeli attacks.

There were no Israeli attacks. The headline contains a complete falsehood. The terrorist group Hamas has organised daily assaults on the Gaza/Israel border fence. All action taken by Israel is defensive. If they were not under siege by the Hamas-controlled Palestinians and the Hamas operatives hidden amongst the crowds then there would be no violence. Israel is under attack at the border; it is not the other way around.

In the very first sentence of their press release FIANZ again lie about who is doing the attacking. They also lie when they say that the Israelis were not provoked.Quote:

New Zealand Muslims are calling on the Government to censure Israel for their attacks on Palestinian protesters at the Gaza border in the past week.[…]

The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand […] expressed its deep concern about the unprovoked Israeli attacks.End of quote.

The so-called peaceful protestors have stockpiled and are burning thousands of tyres in order to provide them with cover and to blind the Israeli troops with black smoke at the border. Those are the actions of a group with intentions of violence, not peace.

The next lie from FIANZ in the article is their President’s claim that the Palestinian civilians were exercising their legitimate right to peacefully protest. They are not protesting peacefully. The photo below shows what a peaceful protest looks like but it is a photo taken on the Israeli side of the fence. The peace activist shown is an Israeli not a Palestinian.

Even the most stage-managed pallywood photos and videos cannot hide the fact that the protestors are using fire, smoke, rocks, sharp weapons like axes, slingshots and other weapons to help them attempt to breach the border fence.

FIANZ’s next lie is almost obscene as they claim that “Israel has no regard for the sanctity of human life.” Israel has a long history of going out of their way to minimise casualties. They go to unprecedented lengths to preserve human life and even warn their targets when they are about to blow up a building so that the people inside have a chance to get out in time.

FIANZ president Hazim Arafeh continues the falsehoods by claiming that the Israeli soldiers have fired at unarmed civilians. He also claims that Israel has seriously violated international law by defending itself. Hamas terrorists are planted within the crowds of violent protestors who are attempting to violate Israel’s border. Hiding among civilians is a typical tactic of Hamas who hide their men and weapons inside hospitals, mosques and schools so that when Israel is forced to stop their rocket attacks by firing on the buildings, they can then claim that Israel is trying to kill civilians.

FIANZ concludes their lie-filled press release with a strong condemnation of what they call “brutal Israeli attacks and the disproportionate use of force.” It always bemuses me when people like Hazim Arafeh talk about the ridiculous concept of proportionate force. If Israel was only allowed to defend itself in the same way that it is attacked by Hamas, then it would have to resort to firing unguided rockets at Palestine from inside schools, hospitals and synagogues. It would have to burn great stockpiles of tyres so that the protestors and Hamas terrorists are blinded, and they would have to use that cover to advance into Palestinian territory en masse with their soldiers in disguise hiding behind women and children and other civilians.

FIANZ end their press release with a whopper of a lie. Quote:

The Federation is calling on the New Zealand Government and other world leaders[…] to strongly censure Israel for its brutal attack on the civilian population of Palestine.End of quote.
