Our ignorance of Palestinian jihad

Palestinian protestors react to tear gas

Quote:

“Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has condemned the “devastating one-sided loss of life” in Jerusalem after Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinian protesters who opposed the opening of the US Embassy there.”  End of quote

Perhaps our prime minister would be less critical if the body count was 50/50, half Israeli and half Palestinian. It is not, and for this she blames Israel. She looks at the Palestinians with both eyes shut.

Like most of our media, she only sees what she wants to see, because the alternative is unpalatable. Also (of course), Ardern is fearful of getting offside with the United Nations, subdued by Arab nations’ bullying. Ardern is not at all concerned about offending Israel, or the United States, so she treats them with childish disdain.

Underlying the Palestinian land claim is their real goal, which is to completely annihilate Israel.

They do not hide this goal; it is plainly written for anyone who cares to look. It is in the founding document of Hamas and is the basis of their jihad.  Quote.

“The original Charter identified Hamas as the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine and declares its members to be Muslims who “fear God and raise the banner of Jihad in the face of the oppressors.”

The charter states that “our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious” and calls for the eventual creation of an Islamic state in Palestine, in place of Israel and the Palestinian Territories, and the obliteration or dissolution of Israel.

It emphasizes the importance of jihad, stating in article 13, ‘There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad.’  End of quote

The west has chosen to believe that the reason for Palestinian angst is that their land was ‘taken’ by Israel, but underneath that grievance is the real motivation of Palestinian leaders. This is a murderous hatred of anything Jewish, which is why they have not and never will never accept a two-state solution.  Quote.

“It is also the reason why tiny Israel is such a high tech military super power.  Israelis have the most technologically advanced military on earth.

About 4.5% of Israel’s GDP is spent on research and development of which 30% is allocated for the military, and they need to because without a high tech defence they would be destroyed.

Israel has been in a perpetual state of conflict since its inception, fighting a war almost every decade. This reality, of having your back against the wall, sharpens the mind. It forces Israelis to be creative and come up with innovative ways and weapons to survive.” End of quote.

Weapons such as robotic vehicles replacing armed patrols, and robotic snakes to investigate and map enemy passageways and headquarters, have been developed to prevent Israel from being wiped off the map.

Why is the world largely oblivious to the rocks, rockets and explosive devices that are hurled from the Gaza Strip into Israel daily?

Ardern and our media have access to the internet, but they refuse to acknowledge the depth of evil that some Israeli citizens face every single day. It’s far easier to live with the half truth of the homeless Palestinians and reprimand the Israelis and the Palestinians as naughty children who are expected to kiss and make up. We are all civilised people, right? Wrong.

With no challenge to their behaviour, Hamas and Islamic Jihad have recently heightened their attacks on Israel, continuing to use civilians, women and children as shields, as they did last week.

Hamas said the recent protest was against the United States embassy being relocated to Jerusalem. This is a half truth to cover the real reason for the protest, which was the start of a new intifada called ‘The Great March of Return’. Hamas and Jihadi fighters, under cover of civilian protesters, attempted to breach the border fence and slaughter Israelis living on the other side. They did not succeed because the IDF stopped them.

Even in the face of failure, Hamas have an unending supply of civilians willing to throw themselves in front of Israeli defences for the cause.  Quote.

The Palestinian people will continue to take part in the Great March of Return, and only they can decide their future,” head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh said.

In a telephoned speech projected through loudspeakers on Tuesday evening during the Great March of Return south of Lebanon, Hanyia added, “The massacre perpetrated yesterday by the Israeli Occupation in Gaza proves the terrorist nature of Israel even when dealing with peaceful protests.”

He noted that the Great March of Return in Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Jordan attracted the world’s attention to the biggest event in the history of the Zionist entity adding that “our people decided neither to give up nor to surrender.”

He called on the Israeli Occupation to think twice before quelling the peaceful protesters adding, “Don’t test the Palestinian resistance’s patience.”  End of quote.

Lies, lies and more lies. The west swallow the ‘massacre’ and ‘peaceful protest’ lies hook, line and sinker despite video and photo footage that tell a different story.

A Palestinian ‘peacefully protests’ by setting tyres on fire while his friend hurls rocks with his catapult towards the Israeli soldiers on the border in the southern Gaza Strip, 30 March 2018.

To counter the new intifada, the Israeli Defence Forces have recently become much more aggressive. Quote

“Up until a few months ago, the IDF would settle for responding to rocket fire and explosive devices from the strip with the purpose of deterring, punishing and prompting Hamas to restrain the rebel organizations. Now, the IDF has adopted a new strategy aimed at using every event and incident on the Gaza border to destroy Hamas’ most important military abilities, primarily the tunnels.

These are no longer acts of retaliation, punishment and deterrence, but real warfare against Hamas, which will make it easier for the IDF to manage the next round of fighting in the strip and protect the Israeli communities in the Gaza vicinity.”  End of quote

Conflict in Gaza is ratcheting up and the Israelis are well equipped for it because they saw it coming. They have a close working knowledge of the extent of the hatred that Palestinian leaders drill into their fighters and civilians. Israel will do everything within their power to stop another full-blown war, whereas Hamas would welcome it because Israel would be misrepresented, yet again, as the bully in this conflict.

The west continue to shut their ears and eyes and bury their head in the sand. They will undoubtedly continue to blame Israel, but we should not, and shame on our government for doing so.
