Miss America gets ugly

The 2018 Miss America competition

Miss America is getting a makeover.  Men, soak in all that beauty in the photo above, it is about to disappear in the name of feminism.  You are no longer allowed to appreciate beautiful women.

In February we said farewell to the grid girls, their jobs axed in the name of feminism. The grid girls wanted to keep doing the job they loved, but ugly jealous feminists decided they were being demeaned and applied pressure to get rid of them.

Now it’s the turn of the Miss America beauty pageant. Don’t fret, there is still a pageant, but there will no longer be a swimsuit or evening gown component to the competition. What is the point of that? The point is that instead, this beauty pageant will judge women based on talent performances and interviews.  Quote:

[…] “We’ve heard from a lot of young women who say, ‘We’d love to be a part of your program but we don’t want to be out there in high heels and a swimsuit,’ so guess what, you don’t have to do that anymore,” Carlson said.[…]  End of quote.

I’m just not sure who is going to be particularly interested in a beauty pageant for fat ugly activists with purple hair wearing track pants and Doc Martens. I mean, the point of a beauty pageant is to appreciate beauty and to choose the most beautiful woman, from a whole bunch of beauties. While it’s true that beauty is not just skin deep, there are a plethora of other shows that are geared towards “talent”.  Miss America has first and foremost been about physical beauty, from its inception back in the 1920’s.  Quote:

[…] The organization is also getting rid of the evening gown portion of the competition and instead asking contestants to wear attire that makes them feel confident and expresses their personal style.  End of quote.

Forget glamorous evening gowns folks, get ready for a parade of weirdos wearing “Don’t grab my pussy” t-shirts. Quote:

The contestants will also discuss how they will advance their chosen causes, called “social impact initiatives” by the Miss America Organization. […] End of quote.

Ah, of course, social impact initiatives.  You can safely bet a thousand bucks that they will all want to “solve climate change”.  Ironic considering that as part of the role, Miss America is expected to travel around 20,000 miles a month. That’s a lot of carbon miles to offset.

But wait, there’s more.  Quote:

[…] The sweeping changes to Miss America aim to help the organization be more inclusive and empowering for all women. […]  End of quote.

Not just the beautiful ones, the butt ugly ones as well.  Quote:

[…] “We are now open, inclusive and transparent and I want to inspire thousands of young people across this country to come and be a part of our program,” she said. “We want you and we want to celebrate your accomplishments and your talents and then we want to hand you scholarships.” […]  End of quote.

Open, inclusive and transparent – yawn!

But it is interesting that Miss America is now seeking to inspire “young people” to be part of their program in an open, inclusive environment.  Not women, not young women, young people.  Is this carefully chosen wording the beginning of allowing non-women into the pageant?  Perhaps the real reason for canning the swimsuit competition is it’s just too hard to hide the meat and two veg in a pair of bathers.

Or maybe this new “inclusiveness” is to encourage Muslim women to enter the competition. Will we see hijabs instead of swimsuits?  That could explain why physical beauty is no longer the focus.
