Today in 1967, BBC Radio One went on the air, replacing the outlawed pirate radio stations The first single played was “Flowers In The Rain” by The Move.

Today in 1967, Crosby, Stills and Nash’s self-titled debut album was certified Gold.

Today in 2002, The Rolling Stones released their double compilation album “Forty Licks”
