I’m not sure how being found to have sexually harassed someone is a win

Yesterday Colin Craig was on NewstalkZB claiming a win.

It was a bizarre interview with Larry Williams, who tore him apart.

It was hilarious, the claim that I was on NewstalkZB telling porkies. The problem with that claim is that it failed. I told the truth about that claim.

He claimed he got a ruling that there was a plot against him; that was not in the judgment. Colin Craig continues to claim things which aren’t true.

The things he claims he got, he did not. This is precisely what the judge declared:

(a) I declare under s 24 of the Defamation Act 1992 that Cameron Slater and Social Media

[654] For the reasons given:Consultants Limited are liable to Colin Craig in defamation for the untrue statements that Mr Craig:

(i)  had placed Ms Rachel MacGregor under financial pressure to sleep with him; and

(ii)  sexually harassed at least one victim other than Ms MacGregor.

So only these two things, and none of those which he claimed. He claims that he got a finding that he was attacked; that is not true. The man continues to deny reality.

What I find amazing is that NewstalkZB had Mr Craig on but didn’t bother to invite me. Radio LIVE at least offered both of us a say.

Nonetheless, Colin Craig continues to deny the obvious. I have no doubt whatsoever that he will appeal.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
