Born today in 1946, Chris Slade (Christopher Rees) drummer with many bands including AC/DC, The Firm, Asia and Manfred Mann’s Earth Band.

Born today in 1947, Timothy B. Schmidt  singer, songwriter and bassist with The Eagles.

Today in 1971, Pink Floyd released their sixth studio album “Meddle”.

Today in 1982, Men At Work went to number 1 in the US with “Who Can It Be Now?”

Died today in 2013, Peter Haycock songwriter, singer and guitarist with Climax Blues Band of a heart attack, aged 62.
