Today in 1975 Elton John went to number 1 on the US album chart with “Rock Of The Westies”.

Today in 1987, Bruce Springsteen went to number 1 on the US album charts with “Tunnel Of Love”.

Died today in 2017, Pentti “Whitey” Glan, session and touring drummer with Lou Reed and Alice Copper, aged 71.
