Born today in 1948, Alan Parsons songwriter and keyboardist with The Alan Parsons Project.

Born today in 1956, Guy Babylon, keyboardist with Elton John.

Born today in 1959, Jackie Fox (Jacqueline Fuchs) songwriter and bassist with The Runaways.

Today in 1969, The Rolling Stones went to number 1 on the UK album chart with “Let It Bleed”.

Today in 1980, John Lennon posthumously went to number 1 in the UK with “Just Like Starting Over”.
