Face of the day

Auckland Students for Choice spokeswoman Justine Rose, said the Pro-Life club were an embarrassment

Today’s face of the day is an activist extraordinaire. She was front and centre of the move to silence, delegitimise, disaffiliate and remove the peaceful Auckland University Pro-Life group and now it has been revealed that she and her Palestinian mate have almost single-handedly convinced Lorde to cancel her concert in Israel.

I can only hope that one day she will become like David Horowitz who was brought up as a socialist and became a very effective activist for the Left but who later in life put his skills to better use defending freedom of speech. The right tend to be useless at activism and it is often experienced former Left-wing activists like?David Horowitz who know how to fight fire with fire.

Activist or ordinary Kiwi Muslim? What does her twitter feed reveal?

Public Relations professional ?Mehpara Khan showed up on my radar when she successfully fed?her Islamophobia/ racism story to the New Zealand MSM. Mehpara works in Public relations which is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organisations and the public. It also is the practice of managing communication between an organisation and the public.

When I read the news stories I noted some common patterns with similar news stories in Western countries where the victims often seem to be hijab wearing, well educated Muslim women who have a history of activism.

In order to check out my hypothesis, I looked through two years worth of her twitter feed. Apart from learning that she has a hobby of listening in to others conversations/dramas on the train on her way to work and then tweeting about it I also learned that she actively promotes her mosque and her religion to the public on twitter.

In Germany and Sweden crazy goes to the bone

I have written before about how liberal lefties view the world. They tend to see the world how they want it to be, whereas those on the right tend to see it as it is. When reality smacks a caring leftie in the head, however, you would expect them to acknowledge that they were wrong. In this case, (and this is not the first time this has happened) a left-wing politician and activist from Europe has illustrated that crazy goes to the bone. Her belief system seems to be more like brainwashing, because how else could you explain a woman wanting to protect the men who gang raped her?

A left-wing German politician has admitted she lied to police about the nationality of three men who raped her in case it triggered racism against migrants in her country.

Selin G?ren, who is a spokeswoman for the left-wing youth movement Solid, was attacked in the city of Mannheim in January while working as a refugee activist. She was ambushed in a play area late at night and forced to perform a sex act on her attackers.

We need systematic change in the Muslim world

-Nazie Eftekhari

Nazie Eftekhari was born in Iran, and is a board member of the Iranian-American Political Action Committee as well as founder and CEO of The Araz Group. Hear her unique perspective on growing up in Iran, how the 1978 revolution impacted women and what she’s doing to continue to fight for equal rights for any and all oppressed communities.

She is one of a number of human rights activists who joined together to make the Honor Diaries:

  1. Sixteen year old Education activist, Malala Yousafzai who was shot in the head by the Taliban.
  2. Muslim-American human rights activist Raquel Saraswati
  3. Nazanin Afshin-Jam, President of Stop Child Executions
  4. Raheel Raza,? the author of “Their Jihad…Not My Jihad,” professional speaker, President of the Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow, and founder of Forum 4 Learning, which promotes learning in the fields of cultural and religious diversity and interfaith harmony.
  5. Manda Zand Ervin, Founder and President of the Alliance of Iranian Women, is an Iranian political refugee working to bring attention to the plight of Iranian women under Islamic Sharia laws.

You can listen to them all but if you only have time for one speaker, make it Malala Yousafzai the 16 year old who was shot in the head by the Taliban.

Cruising down the middle of the feminist highway

Recent news items have highlighted a feminist agenda in New Zealand. It is not a middle of the road agenda but an extreme one, that some would refer to as Militant or Feminazi.

We have a women’s group applauding Cunliffe apologising for being a man because some men in New Zealand abuse women. We have a young activist being used as a political pawn in order to attack National but also to add gravitas to a proposed law change to shift the burden of proof in rape cases. A law change that turns our entire system on its head as the assumption of innocence until proven guilty would be taken away.

So why is all this ok? It seems that if it is good for women then we dare not question or criticize it. Well I am criticizing it and let me tell you why.

I used to drive my poor Dad nuts with the feminist stuff I used to say in my teens. I had a poster on my door especially to upset him that said…..

I thought it was really funny at the time. My other poster had a quote from Charlotte Whitton on it which said……

“Whatever women do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily, this is not difficult.”

When is a struggling Kiwi really a struggling Kiwi

Labour it seems have put their mis-leading GST brochure out around the country. I blogged on it in regard to Ruth Dyson advocating the complete removal of GST, it now looks like the whole of Labour are advocating that.

Worse though is one of their little stories about a struggling Kiwi family failing to make ends meet.

Lying Labour fails to disclose details

Lying Labour fails to disclose details

Do you think Labour knew that the hardworking everyday Pacific Island family featuring one Mote Pahulu… is the same Mote Pahulu standing for the Manurewa Action Team ticket, the same ticket that also features George Hawkins in the supercity elections. I wonder too if he is the same Mote Pahulu who is also on the Wiri Licensing Trust, presumably earning meeting fees for his work there.

Why don’t Labour declare fully affliations of people in their brochures. Mote Pahulu is not some random islander they picked off the street, he is a Labour activist reading rehearsed lines on command.
