My heart is as pure as the driven slush – Tallulah Bankhead

Tallulah Dahling

“Hello, Dahling . . . I’ll come and make love to you at five o’clock. If I’m late start without me.”
Her voice, her wit, and her face were captivating.

On why she called everyone dahling she stated that she was terrible with names and once introduced a friend of hers as Martini.  Her name was actually Olive.

Tallulah, with her signature “dah-ling”s and her notorious peccadilloes and her endlessly caricatured baritonal gurgle of a voice—a voice that was steeped as deep in sex as the human voice can go without drowning—would be easy to dismiss as a joke if she hadn’t also been a woman of outsize capacities. As it is, the story of her life reaches beyond gossip and approaches tragedy.
It was Tallulah’s real-life behaviour that really got people’s attention.

Tallulah’s scandalous career began at her seminary when, aged twelve, she fell in love with Sister Ignatius.  As she grew to adulthood she developed her romantic and sexual interests in a way which can really only be called trisexual: she would bed heterosexual men, preferably well hung, women and homosexual men, again preferably well-hung.  She stumbled across this life unprepared but took to it with enthusiasm and a breathtaking lack of concern for the proprieties.  She once said: ‘My father always warned me about men, but he never said anything about women!  And I don’t give a stuff what people say about me so long as they say something!’  She managed to keep them talking for the rest of her life, but her most admirable trick was always to pre-empt the insidious leakage of malicious gossip with reflexive innuendos so frank as to seem hardly believable.  Personal eccentricities, such as the refusal ever to wash her hair in anything other than Energine dry-cleaning fluid, probably helped to create the conditions in which she then felt able to defy more serious conventions in riskier ways.

Errol Flynn Pictured With Beverley Aadland at The Lido Nightclub on Swallow Street, just off Piccadilly, 5th May 1959. The Couple Starred In The Film Cuban Rebel Girls And Had A Highly Publicised Relationship For The Last Two Years Of Flynn’s Life. Photo: Rex Features

In like Flynn Warts and All!!

“All around the world I was equated with sex”

-Errol Flynn

Errol Flynn once said: ‘I like my whisky old, and my women young’ and the above photo, while not saying anything about his choice of whisky, certainly says something about his taste in women, or should it be girls. He was one of Hollywood’s all-time great ladies’ men — a spirited womaniser who inspired the expression “in like Flynn.”

The picture above of Flynn, from May 1959, was taken a month or so before his fiftieth birthday and he’s accompanied by his girlfriend, Beverly Aadland, who was still a few months from her 17th birthday that September. According to Beverly’s mother, a former showgirl called Florence and who wrote about Flynn and Aadland’s romance in a book called The Big Love, by the summer of 1959 they had already been together for a year.

His tastes in young women caught up with him in 1943, when he was tried for statutory rape. Two underage girls (“jailbait” and “San Quentin quail”) claimed he had bedded them. Flynn was acquitted.

Flynn spent his breaks during the trial hitting on the teenager who ran the courthouse’s cigarette stand. Flynn invited her home — and she later became his second wife.

Errol Flynn was that guy — that one guy, we all know them — who was too handsome for his own good. Early on, he figured out what his looks could do for him, and he rode that wave to various destinations. He was a textbook womaniser, an astoundingly successful player — a lech, a cad, a rake, and any number of other British-sounding adjectives that describe the combination of sexual appetite and the charisma required to feed it.

The Man in the Rockefeller Suit.

The Man in the Rockefeller Suit.

The Man in the Rockefeller Suit

In what was called “the longest-running con in FBI history,” Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter – the man people knew as Clark Rockefeller – brilliantly impersonated numerous people.

His parents knew him as Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, for that was the name they gave him when he was born on February 21, 1961. But to most other people, Gerhartsreiter was a stranger, having gone by a slew of aliases throughout his life, starting when he was 17. Meandering his way across the United States and back again, by the time Gerhartsreiter took on his most well-known and outlandish identity as Clark Rockefeller (of yes, the Rockefeller family), the notorious con artist had already fooled countless people into believing he was an actor, a NASA physicist, a mathematician, a Pentagon officer, an art dealer, a Wall Street broker, a cardiac surgeon and a film producer. And not unlike Clark Kent, another master of disguise, taking on a new identity was often as simple as putting on a new pair of glasses.

To prepare, let’s navigate our way through Rockefeller, er, I mean, Gerhartsreiter’s many confusing identities, which are distinguished by his ever evolving eyewear choices. Read more »

A Crazy Need To Be A Star!

No-one did any Fact Checking on Her Story for About Six years..

Why didn’t anyone sense something was amiss?

Tania Head was full of lies.

Tania Head, was a wonderful 9/11 impostor—She was The President and Spokesperson for the World Trade Centre Survivors Network, despite Not being a World Trade Centre survivor… and also a prominent advocate for 9/11 widows who had Not, in fact, lost a husband. Or a fiancé, as she referred to a man named Dave, who had actually died in the attacks.

Dave’s family had never heard of Tania, which is no surprise, since she was a Spanish business-school student who had spent September 11, in Barcelona.

Alicia Esteve Head, a.k.a. Tania, Head claimed she lost consciousness while still in the North Tower and awoke five days later, in a hospital, to learn her fiancé had died there.

Her story had more holes in it than a pair of fishnet stockings, and it’s not like she invented concocting fake 9/11 stories to get attention. Still, when a victim crawls from the rubble of a countries worst disaster with a dead fiancé, it’s a very risky move calling bull. So, nobody did.

America took Head into their hearts both as a victim and as the woman who publicly fought for the cause of the 9/11 survivors, she became infamous as the woman who made it all up.

Head had never worked for Merrill Lynch, which she claimed as her employer at the time of the attacks, and had never visited the offices of the Fiduciary Trust Company, on the 96th floor of the South Tower, where she claimed she was when Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower. (She had reached the 78th floor and was waiting for an express elevator down, she said, when the second plane made impact above her.) On her way out of the building, she often told trauma groups, reporters, and 9/11 victims, she encountered a badly injured man who passed her his wedding ring and asked that she return it to his wife.

Hacking fallout

When unethical so called’ journalists ‘ hack members of the public or work closely with hackers in order to gain such information the human cost is often forgotten.

Nicky Hager-Dirty Politics

Nicky Hager

I guess we should be grateful that Nicky Hager was so ‘ honest ‘ about where he obtained his information as at least it spared Cameron and I the grief that this poor couple were put through. The hacking of their phone conversations cost them their relationship and hurt their careers because as the media bit by bit revealed their private information they blamed each other for the leaks, as only the two of them knew the information. Additionally at work no one would trust them as they believed that they were blabbing work related information to the press.

If Sex isn’t dirty you are doing it wrong, or: how to spring clean your Vajizzle

Being an Actor requires a certain skill set just like any other profession. The ability to speak in public however does not necessarily equal the ability to make sensible and logical statements about politics or health. When I talk about Politics I am thinking about actors like Ben Affleck

2015 Islamophobia Awards and the nominees are……

Believe it or not there is such a thing as the Islamophobia Awards.

Not only do they nominate individuals for the award, they also have nominated books and films.

They have even helpfully included a quote to go with each of the nominees. Frankly I am struggling to find any lies. All I see are facts and opinions. I don’t see any hate but what I do see in the creation of these awards is Islam attacking Freedom of Speech yet again. Admittedly this is a ‘ moderate ‘ way to try to silence the dissenting voices, but it is an attempt to silence us nevertheless.

Face of the day

Today’s face of the day chooses a religion the way some women choose a car. He is influenced by how it looks and how it makes him feel but he fails to look under the bonnet.

He may have been named after the local priest in his Irish hometown but Liam Neeson could be leaving his Roman Catholic beliefs behind.

The 59-year-old actor is said to be considering converting to Islam following a working trip to Istanbul.

According to The Sun, Neeson admitted that Islamic prayer ‘got into his spirit’ while he was filming in Turkey.

A different faith: Liam Neeson, pictured here on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Show this month, is reportedly considering converting to Islam
The call to prayer happens five times a day, and for the first week, it drives you crazy, and then it just gets into your spirit, and it’s the most beautiful, beautiful thing,’ he said.

There are 4,000 mosques in the city. Some are just stunning, and it really makes me think about becoming a Muslim.’

-DailyMail.co.nz

Well I am glad that he really looked into it then. You can tell so much about an ideology by the architecture of their buildings and the way that they pray five times a day ( cough ) If he can be seduced by nice architecture and people on mats 5 times a day constantly bending and stretching perhaps he should consider this instead?

I mean seriously, which one would you choose?
