Would you Fire or Hire?

So would you fire or hire 24-year-old Lynne Tziolas?

She has just been fired from Narraweena Public School for posing nude in Cleo magazine.

That is the picture for which she was fired for.

Apparently only one parent complained while 40 have signed a petition for her reinstatement after she appeared in a sealed section of Cleo magazine

In the article, which appeared in a sealed section titled “Buck naked couples talk about their sex lives”, the pair, who have been married for four years, answered questions about how many times they had sex each week, their favourite body parts and the most risque sexual thing they’d done.

Right that has just helped the Google rankings. It’s got ot all….sex, nude, school teacher, buck naked….excellent.

Hurt goes on Government

Govt misery grows over emissions billLabour is trying to shore up support for the emissions trading scheme to ensure it can pass without becoming a bargaining chip in post-election coalition talks.
Yesterday the Maori Party added its voice to Green Party threats that…
[NZ Politics]

The hurt is going on the government as the Maori Party slams the Governements lack of committment to its much vaunted Emissions Trading Scheme.
”It’s looking as if we won’t. The Government can’t go round promising or telling people one thing and then backing down because it’s election year. You either genuinely believe this needs to happen and you’ve got a strategy to address the issues around climate change, or you haven’t.”
Now don’t get me wrong I think the whole thing is a sham and based on lies and proven falsehoods in the science, but you do have to ask, when after days of slagging National about its committment to climate change (Whatever the fuck that means) it now has done not one but two u-turns on their policy.

Just how committed is the Government to Climate Change?

It seems that it quite prepared to chuck its principles in the cupboard in an election year and hope that noone notices. The only problem with that is that we do notice. The Greens and the Maori party have now shown that they do have principles and that now they must show through in the bigger picture. This governm, ent no longer warrants being supported, in particular by perennial bridesmaid The Greens.

Biofuel could cause more carbon problems – New Zealand’s source for World News on Stuff.co.nz

In our headlong rush to be “green” and “carbon neutral” the planet is rushing head long down a dead-end. Not only are biofuels dirtier but they are contributing to a massive spike in food prices as farmers change from food crops to biofuels crops to make more money.

The joke of it all though is that the “evil” fossil fuels are just biofuels with a few million years of distillation.
One study found that converting forests and grasslands to produce food-based biofuels in Brazil, South-East Asia and the US created a “biofuel carbon debt”, releasing 17 to 420 times more carbon than the annual greenhouse gas reductions they achieve by replacing fossil fuels.

The scientists looked at carbon released into the air when soils are overturned and existing vegetation rots or is burned away. In one case, they found it would take 423 years to repay the carbon debt incurred by converting an Indonesian peatland into a biofuel plantation.
You see the amount of carbon in a plant that is living and standing is the same as the amount of carbon in the same plant mulched up and made into biofuels, and is the same amount of carbon in the same plant left to rot in a peat bog, and is the same amount of carbon in the same plant that grew millions of years ago and turned into oil.

Worse the land changes are releasing carbon that was previously “locked” in the ground……Now if you followed all that you will realise that this carbon neutrality bullshit is exactly that, bullshit, along with AGW, AGC and any other spurious science half-assed hockey stick fallacy that proven liar Al Gore spouts.

Dear Walk the Walk

Letter to Walk the Walk | SOLO – Sense of Life Objectivists

Duncan Bayne at SOLO writes a letter to “Walk the Walk”
Hi,

I found your site through the Save The Happy Valley website, and I’m keen to participate in your walk, to stand up against capitalism and the damage it’s doing to our fragile ecosystem. I’ve never been to a walk like this, but I have been following the progress of our brothers and sisters in the Save The Happy Valley team. In light of this, I’ve a few questions as a Walk the Walk newbie.

First, what weapons should I bring? According to the Police Affidavit I’ve read, sniper rifles are the preferred weapon amongst Wellington peace activists, but I’m not really in touch with the latest fashions.

Secondly, how much ammunition will I need? Granted this is a peaceful walk, but there’s always the possibility of close-range contacts with special forces troopers, just like Tame Iti was training people for a few months ago. I was thinking several hundred rifle rounds and possibly a few grenades would cover it.

Lastly, I’m a bit concerned that all of this shooting might be producing greenhouse gases. Does anyone in your group know of a good source of organic, holistic, low-emission propellant? If not, can you suggest a company from which I can purchase carbon credits to offset the cost of normal ammunition?

Thanks for your time, & I look forwards to joining your peaceful march.

Yours,
Duncan Bayne
I wonder if he has had the courtesy of a reply yet?

Gore gets the Cold shoulder

Gore gets a cold shoulder – Environment – smh.com.au

Not every-one thinks proven liar Albert Gore is the bees-knees.
ONE of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works".

Dr William Gray, a pioneer in the science of seasonal hurricane forecasts, told a packed lecture hall at the University of North Carolina that humans were not responsible for the warming of the earth.

His comments came on the same day that the Nobel committee honoured Mr Gore for his work in support of the link between humans and global warming.

"We're brainwashing our children," said Dr Gray, 78, a long-time professor at Colorado State University. "They're going to the Gore movie [An Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It's ridiculous."
Yes, quite.

Climate Change Liar wins Nobel Peace Prize

Gore shares Nobel Peace Prize – New Zealand’s source for World News on Stuff.co.nz

Al Gore, proven liar and fabricator of a tissue of lies ironically called “An Inconvenient Truth” has won the Nobel Peace Prize, thus proving that they are not worth a knob of goat-shit. The only Inconvenient Truth is that there isn’t a shred of truth to anything the liar has to say. We know this to be the case because a truck driver no less challenged the idiot’s contentions in a court of law and won.

This decision to award an environmental alarmist and another bunch of alarmists the IPCC the Nobel Prize shows how deluded theworld has become.

Resource Deniers halt development

Build no more fossil-fuel power stations, says Government – 12 Oct 2007 – NZ Herald: New Zealand Business and Personal Finance News

The Government has decided that New Zealand can no longer use the natural resources at our fingertips for the generation of power. That means no new power stations that are oil, gas or coal fired thus effectively forcing those industries to export the resources to China which has no such stupid rulings and builds fossil fueled power stations at a ridiculous rate that escapes me at present.

This is how bizarrre and limiting our government has become as it is captured by the new religionists that is Climate Change.

Judge inconveniently gores green documentary in outspoken ruling – 12 Oct 2007 – NZ Herald: New Zealand and International Environment News
All of this resource denying comes at a time when an emminent judge in the UK has shown that Al Gores mockumentary is nothing but a catalogue of lies and obfuscations. Gore even uses the “Dan Rather” defense to justify his bullshit.

Meanwhile little old New Zealand is denying our electricity generators the natural resources of th country and driving us into generating electricity through unproven and expensive technologies.

Schools must warn of Gore climate film bias | the Daily Mail

The inconvenient truth of Al Gores mockumentary is that there is very few facts in it. Now a truck driver in the UK has won his case and a judge has issued orders that Schools will have to issue a warning before they show pupils Al Gore’s mockumentary about global warming.

Mr Dimmock, the truck driver from Dover with children aged 11 and 14, said at the outset of the hearing: ‘I wish my children to have the best education possible, free from bias and political spin, and Mr Gore’s film falls far short of the standard required.’

He said ‘no amount of turgid guidance’ could change the fact that the film is unfit for consumption in the classroom.

Truck Driver sues UK Government over Gore Bull

UK govt in court over Gore environment film – New Zealand’s source for World News on Stuff.co.nz

Good stuff, finally some people are starting to push back against the silly contentions in Gore’s work of fiction “An Inconvenient Truth”.
Stewart Dimmock, also a school governor, is challenging the decision made in February by the then education and environment ministers – Alan Johnson and David Miliband respectively.

Dimmock’s lawyer Paul Downes told the High Court that the Oscar-winning film, “An Inconvenient Truth”, contained “serious scientific inaccuracies.

“Given the serious inaccuracies in the film and the misrepresentations it contains, the film is irredeemable,” he said.

He added that only half the film related to scientific material, 30 percent was political and the remaining 20 percent was “sentimental mush – mush there to soften up the viewer for persuasion.”
He might even add that the scientific content is fiction as well, but hey it’s a start.

Around the blogs – Not PC

Not PC: Oops! NASA has lost Wellington

I go to Peter Creswell’s blog every day. I’m not into architecture or art but I am interested in liberterianism and definately on the same page as him with respect to the global hoax we are all being subjected to in AGW, Climate Change or whatever bullshit name you want to give to lies, obfuscation and horse-shit.

Today Peter has got one of the warmists fair and square. The warmist is James Hansen and without any fear of contradiction he is a liar. basically he makes shit up as Peter has shown with a neat little graph where NASA hasn’t recorded any data since 1988 and when you add NIWA’s data for the same site since then shows temperatures dropping despite the best efforts of politicians to warm the place up. That of course didn’t matter to Hames hansen who pulled 19 years of data out of his sphincter.

His second great post is about the Viscount Monckton interview on Leighton Smith’s show this morning. Now, I have been meaning to blog on this but got caught up bashing Hubbard. I actually heard this interview live and nearly ran off the road twice laughing so much as his rapier wit and decimation of the “ludicrous” path this country has set itself upon.

Not PC: Christopher Monckton: Clark/Key cap-and-trade scheme “ludicrous”

This bullshit system that Labour has cooked up and I might add National for some strange reason is supporting has been tried twice in Europe. Twice it has failed in a spectacular fashion. Carbon Credits in those two failed markets currently trade and cents not Euros and far off the pulled from their arse figures for Carbon Credits.

I wish that more politicians, including fools like Nick Smith. I pray to the Lord that he would just educate himself and other in national would do the same.

I am not a Climate Change Denier. Quite the contrary, I believe that climate changes all the time. We should be worried if it didn’t change.
