Ethnic cleansing

The only way to stop the Muslim refugee crisis becoming our crisis is to shut the door

It is time for a pragmatic solution to what is, in reality, an unsolvable problem affecting most of the world. Daniel Greenfield who is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Centre provides a pragmatic solution. It may not make people feel good as it involves putting our country and our country’s citizens first but it is as essential as this memorable scene in Game of Thrones where Hodor gave his life, holding the door shut so that his friends could survive.

…Even without the Sunnis and Shiites competing to give each other machete haircuts every sunny morning, there would still be a permanent Muslim refugee crisis.

The vast majority of civil wars over the last ten years have taken place in Muslim countries. Muslim countries are also some of the poorest in the world. And Muslim countries also have high birth rates.

Combine violence and poverty with a population boom and you get a permanent migration crisis.

No matter what happens in Syria or Libya next year, that permanent migration crisis isn’t going away.

The Muslim world is expanding unsustainably. In the Middle East and Asia, Muslims tend to underperform their non-Muslim neighbors both educationally and economically. Oil is the only asset that gave Muslims any advantage and in the age of fracking, its value is a lot shakier than it used to be.

The Muslim world had lost its old role as the intermediary between Asia and the West. And it has no economic function in the new world except to blackmail it by spreading violence and instability.

Muslim countries with lower literacy rates, especially for women, are never going to be economic winners at any trade that doesn’t come gushing out of the ground. Nor will unstable dictatorships ever be able to provide social mobility or access to the good life…

The Muslim world has no prospects for getting any better. The Arab Spring was a Western delusion.

Growing populations divided along tribal and religious lines are competing for a limited amount of land, power and wealth. Countries without a future are set to double in size.

There are only two solutions; war or migration.

A tailor-made situation for Western liberals and left-wingers to shun and condemn

It has everything that left-wingers and Western liberals love to hate.

It has…

  • Racism.
  • Colonialism.
  • Ethnic cleansing.
  • Police states.
  • Antisemitism.

These are all things that Western Progressives claim to be against. In fact, they define themselves by their fixed positions against all these things.

Israel is currently looking down the barrel of a diplomatic gun as the Obama presidency approaches its final days. If Western Progressives despise all of the above things then they should be firmly on the side of Israel.

Colonialism:

The goal of the Palestinians is the colonial conquest of another people’s country. That country is the State of Israel, the homeland of the Jewish people…

A “Judenrein” Jerusalem? New Zealand’s Shame

A respected British commentator recently described New Zealand as “a stupid country of no other significance”. She was referencing NZ co-sponsoring UN resolution 2334, which effectively bans Jews from living in certain areas.

I am not convinced that New Zealand is a stupid country but in this matter some of our leaders are surely morally deficient.

First, some background:

Jews have been subject to expulsion and persecution for millennia. In the 1930’s and 40’s, for example, the Germans implemented a policy of Jewish expulsion. Their goal was to make Europe Judenrein* or Judenfrei – free of Jews. Jewish communities, many of which had been resident in their host countries for hundreds of years, were expelled or eliminated. I have a number of Jewish friends who lived through this dark period.

Forbidding Jews to live in a particular area was, of course, antisemitism. And it is a matter of historical record that the Judenrein policy was a step on the road to genocide. Ultimately six million Jews were murdered.

ISIL’s attacks on Arab Christians are designed to provoke a showdown between Islam and the West

234243

As early as December 2010, the New York Times had reported that “a new wave of Iraqi Christians has fled to northern Iraq or abroad amid a campaign of violence against them and growing fear that the country’s security forces are unable or, more ominously, unwilling to protect them”.

The news of [the most recent] abduction in Syria is especially frightening in light of the fact that some 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians were brutally murdered by the same group in Libya.

The key question is why are Christians targeted for these mass abduction and slaughter by ISIL?

Four paramount factors immediately suggest themselves:

First: Copts in Egypt, and Assyrians and Armenians in Iraq and Syria are among the oldest Christian communities in the Arab and Muslim world. ISIL targets Arab Christians in order to tear into the fabric of societies such as Syria, Iraq, or Egypt where in the course of post-colonial nation-state formations these societies have become a mosaic of old and new, Islamic and non-Islamic, sacred and secular, group affiliations and have thus enriched their cosmopolitan culture, to which these homicidal gangs are a sworn enemy.

Second: This murderous exhibitionism is to provoke violent sectarianism in the Arab and Muslim world. It is not just the Christians that ISIL targets. They also target the Shia Muslims, the Yazidis, the Kurds, etc. All such attacks are designed to instigate sectarian violence to dismantle otherwise worldly revolutionary uprisings we have known as the Arab Spring.

UN reports on ISIS war crimes including slavery, rape and mass executions

For apologists of ISIS and Islamic fundamentalism the latest UN report into happening in Syria and Iraq makes for grim reading.

Foreign Policy reports:

In early August, fighters from the Islamic State swept into the small Yazidi village of Maturat in Iraq’s Sinjar district and took women to the Badush prison in Mosul. Hundreds more women and girls were herded into an ancient citadel in the town of Tal Afar in the northern province of Nineveh. From Tal Afar, a group of 150 unmarried girls and women, mostly from Christian or Yazidi families, were selected and reportedly sent to Syria “either to be given to ISIL fighters as a reward or to be sold as sex slaves,” according to a report released on Thursday, Oct. 2, by the United Nations’ human rights office in Iraq.

The Islamic State, also known as ISIS and ISIL, captured the world’s attention last June by declaring the creation of a caliphate in parts of both Syria and Iraq and embarking on a ruthless military campaign marked by mass executions, beheadings, and ethnic cleansing of ancient Christian, Shiite, and Yazidi communities. The 26-page report — which documents rights abuses from July 6 through Sept. 10 — constitutes the most detailed U.N. account of crimes committed by the Islamic State and sheds further light on its mass enslavement of women and girls. Evidence was compiled by a team of U.N. human rights investigators inside Iraq. Most of the interviews with eyewitnesses were conducted in Erbil and Dohuk, where thousands fled the Islamic State’s military offensive.

By the end of August, the U.N. documented the abduction of up to 2,500 civilians, mostly women and children, from the northern Iraqi towns and regions of Sinjar, Tal Afar, the Ninewa Plains, and Shirkhan. Once they were in captivity, fighters from the Islamic State sexually assaulted the teenage boys and girls, witnesses told the United Nations. Those who refused to convert to the groups ran the risk of execution. “[W]omen and children who refused to convert were being allotted to ISIL fighters or were being trafficked … in markets in Mosul and to Raqqa in Syria,” according to the report. “Married women who converted were told by ISIL that their previous marriages were not recognised in Islamic law and that they, as well as unmarried women who converted, would be given to ISIL fighters as wives.”

A market for the sale of abducted women was set up in the al-Quds neighborhood of Mosul.  Read more »

Thursday nightCap

Viewer discretion advised.  This is as rough as it gets.

English MP Mrs. Mavis Tate shows proof of the holocaust with shots from her visit to a German concentratino camp. Taken from the original 1945 British Pathe newsreel “German Atrocities – Proof”. This Pathe newsreel showed the world at the time what atrocities had been committed. The MP, Mavis Tate describes eloquently what she saw at Buchenwald concentration camps.

Who celebrates the holocaust, even now?

I wonder what sort of tourism he will champion

The Guardian

John Key cops a lot of flack for his role as Minister of tourism, but no one can argue that he doesn’t work hard at promoting New Zealand.

Even though the more extreme of the left wing woul like to charge John Key with ethnic cleansing and bankrupting the country he certainly is no Robert Mugabe.

I’m not sure exactly what sort of global holiday-making Robert Mugabe will be able to endorse. Perhaps he is going ti encourage tours of the world’s despotic nations and tours of sites of ethnic cleansing?

The Zimbabwe president, accused of ethnic cleansing and bankrupting his country, asked to champion tourism.

With a line-up that includes Drew Barrymore, David Beckham, Orlando Bloom, and Ricky Martin, the UN’s choice of ambassadors has been known to cause raised eyebrows or the odd smirk.

Seldom, however, has there been such anger, or questioning of the organisation’s credibility, as that greeting the appointment of a new international envoy for tourism: Robert Mugabe.

Improbable as it seems, the Zimbabwean president, who is widely accused of ethnic cleansing, rigging elections, terrorising opposition, controlling media and presiding over a collapsed economy, has been endorsed as a champion of efforts to boost global holidaymaking.

Despite that fact Mugabe, 88, is under a travel ban, he has been honoured as a “leader for tourism” by the UN’s World Tourism Organisation, along with his political ally, Zambian president Michael Sata, 75. The pair signed an agreement with UNWTO secretary general Taleb Rifai at their shared border at Victoria Falls on Tuesday.

Zimbabwe’s state-owned Herald newspaper quoted Rifai urging tourists from around the world to visit : “I was told about the wonderful experience and the warm hospitality of this country … By coming here, it is recognition, an endorsement on the country that it is a safe destination.”
