UK girl slut-shamed by fundamentalist Muslims: feminists and MSM say nothing

This news story helps answer the question why so few Muslim children fully assimilate into the Western culture into which they are born and raised. It is the sad tale of a Muslim girl who was filmed twerking like Miley Cyrus while wearing her headscarf. What happened next is a cautionary tale for any Muslim teenager who thinks that they can safely assimilate into Western society.

A Muslim girl wearing a headscarf was filmed dancing in the streets of Birmingham, U.K.—twerking, in fact—and the smartphone video soon went viral, viewed over a million times. Ironically, it was popularized in no small part by outraged Muslim men

The fundamentalist Muslim backlash directed at this anonymous 17-year-old girl’s innocuous behavior was instant, personal, and severe. Amid threats in comment threads such as, “Fu**ing sl*t someone give me her address I will kill her,” and “Stupid b**ch needs to be killed,” the young girl issued a tearful, pitiful public apology that was broadcast by a pair of fundamentalist roving-fatwa YouTubers as a “repentance” to placate the frothing Islamist mob.

Now I am no fan of twerking and think that Miley Cyrus is not exactly a great role model for young women but we were all young once. It was just a harmless bit of fun (or at least it should have been a harmless bit of fun) but when you add intolerance to the mix things can get out of hand real fast.

You may have been too harsh about the Muslim faith

halal4-vMuslims are slowly considering leaving the Stone Age behind

The Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs has issued a fatwa (Muslim religious ruling) stating that it’s now acceptable to use toilet paper for personal hygiene, but only if water is nowhere to be found.

“If water cannot be found for cleansing, other cleaning materials can be used. Even though some sources deem paper to be unsuitable as a cleaning material, as it is an apparatus for writing, there is no problem in using toilet paper,” the ruling says, as reported by Hurriyet Daily News.

The previous prohibition on the use of toilet paper was established by Qadaahul Haajah, an extremely prohibitive set of rules detailing how and when Muslim should relieve themselves.

After burying the hatchet with real estate blogger Martyn Bradbury it was only a matter of time until Imperator Fish blogger Scott Yorke found another blogger to torment to an eating disorder.

He has issued a fatwa against Andrew Geddis…one I am tempted to join…since Andrew cannot and will not mention my name or the name of my blog.

It is all very Wogistani but extremely entertaining:

Blogger Scott Yorke today issued a “fatwa” against Otago University academic Professor Andrew Geddis.

Mr Yorke said he had issued the edict to “take my revenge on that dirty thief.”

Yorke said he had been forced to act after Geddis stole one of his blogpost ideas.  Read more »

Face of the Day

Salman Rushdie has had his fatwa renewed:

Iran has seized on widespread Muslim outrage over a film insulting the Prophet Mohammad to revive the death threat against Salman Rushdie, raising the reward for killing him by US$500,000 (£320,000).

These muslims are having a blinder

It isn’t often a fatwa is deserved but in this case I think the whole world can climb on board this fatwa.

Vuvuzela FatwaThe horns that have blared at World Cup matches in South Africa make an unholy racket – according to a religious edict in the United Arab Emirates.

A fatwa by the UAE’s General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments declares that the now-famous blast from the plastic vuvuzela is not permitted in the Gulf country if it exceeds 100 decibels – about the sound of a passing train.

It says the typical vuvuzela blast is up to 127 decibels.

The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi reported on Friday that the ruling came after thousands of vuvuzelas were imported to the UAE for World Cup fans. The horns could later appear at local soccer matches.

The fatwa is based on the judgment that the din can damage fans’ hearing.
