Why Israel exists

Want to know why Israel exists? Here’s why. Quote.

Quote:Nazi murder rates during the height of the Holocaust was almost three times higher than previously thought, and only declined once there was “no one left to kill”, a study suggests.

At the genocidal regime’s peak about 15,000 Jews were being murdered every day in the death camps of German-occupied Poland under Operation Reinhard.

Previous estimates suggested that 6000 people were murdered daily at Auschwitz alone, but exact figures were difficult to verify because the deaths were covered up by the Nazis.

To determine the true picture, Professor Lewi Stone, of the University of Tel Aviv in Israel, studied records of the “special trains” used to transport millions of people to the three camps of Belzec, Sobibor and Treblinka. He found a “three-month phase of hyperintense killing” highlighting the Nazis’ “pure focused goal of obliterating the entire Jewish people of occupied Poland in as short a time as possible”.

[…]”To my surprise, historians have completely avoided quantitative approaches for examining this period. But the graphs show with chilling immediacy the bloodlust of the Nazi programme to obliterate the Jewish people in as short a time as possible,” he said. “The subsequent rapid plunge in the death rate in November and December 1942 simply reflects that there were very few Jewish victims left alive to murder. It highlights the frenzied killing the Nazis planned for the Final Solution to the Jewish Question and their ability and eagerness to carry it out.”End of quote.

Read that again. The murder (and it was murder, not just killing) only stopped because there was no one left to kill.

Quote:[…]The new murder rate would mean the Rwandan genocide, in which 800,000 people were murdered in just 100 days, was not the most intense of the 20th century.
End of quote.

The Telegraph

Let’s not forget that it’s not a numbers game, though. More Russians died under Stalin and even more Chinese died under Mao. The difference with those is they weren’t systematic and intentional. Hitler deliberately set out to murder an entire race.

I don’t care if you think that Israel is an apartheid state. I don’t care if you think Israel treats Palestinians badly. You’d be wrong of course, but you have a right to that opinion. What I do care about is if you think Israel has no right to exist.

Because Israel exists, should ever there be a country or nation where the Holocaust starts again, Jews there know there is a haven, their homeland, that they can go to.

In other words Israel exists so the Holocaust can never happen again.

That is why Israel has the absolute right to exist.

Josef Mengele Women’s Camp.

A Monster Among Men

Joseph Mengele

Warning Some Parts of this Story are Disturbing.

The Holocaust seems so distant, so far removed from our reality. For us, it is hard to even conceive of the massive horrors and atrocities committed by Josef Mengele and the Nazis. But the few “Mengele twins” survivors remember. They remember being children when they were spared from outright execution but delivered to a decidedly crueller fate.

He was dubbed the Angel of Death – the Nazi doctor who tortured and killed thousands of children in grisly experiments at Auschwitz.

Dr Josef Mengele’s medical facility at Auschwitz was perhaps the most horrifying place the Holocaust produced. Who was this man behind it all, and what made him the notorious “Angel of Death?”

In addition to being sites of slave labour and human annihilation, many Nazi concentration camps also functioned as medical experimentation centres throughout the Holocaust. Under the guise of researching new treatments or investigating racial eugenics, doctors conducted painful and often fatal experiments on thousands of prisoners without consent. The man most commonly associated with these pseudo-medical experiments is Dr Josef Mengele, whose notoriety among the inmates of Auschwitz earned him the nickname ‘the Angel of Death’.

The Angel of Death, Josef Mengele, was obsessed with twins and performed horrific experiments on them for reasons that still remain unclear. One of his experiments was with eye colour. Mengele or one of his assistants would inject dyes into an eye of a child, preferably a set of twins. The dyes often resulted in injury, sometimes complete blindness, not to mention excruciating pain.

Another series of experiments which Mengele performed was with twins in whom he would inject one with a deadly virus, and after that twin died, kill the other to compare organ tissue at autopsy.

He carried out twin-to-twin transfusions, stitched twins together, castrated, or sterilised twins. Many twins had limbs and organs removed in macabre surgical procedures, performed without using an anaesthetic. Only a few of the estimated 3,000 twins at Auschwitz survived his sadistic madness.

Writer and Holocaust survivor? Binjamin Wilkomirski in Zurich, 15th September 1999. He is holding an artistic depiction of World War II.

The Boy Who Had Two Lives

“Did I have five brothers or four? Which seems righter? I can’t say for sure anymore…”
– from Fragments by Binjamin Wilkomirski

There’s a fine line between a memoir and embellished, perhaps tainted memory, but it’s pretty black and white when it comes to fiction and non-fiction.

In his writings, Binjamin Wilkomirski claims that he was born in Latvia and later moved to Switzerland, and he also shares his experiences in German-occupied Poland. Wilkomirski has written many pieces about his experiences during the Holocaust that have been best-sellers in many countries. Unfortunately, many allegations have risen claiming that his writings are coaxes. A man named Ganzfried argued that he was actually born as an illegitimate child in Switzerland and only experienced the Holocaust as a “tourist.” Wilkomirski has responded to these accusations by claiming he was forced to change his records in order to avoid the Nazis. It is hard to believe that Wilkomirski made up all of his writing, especially the specific and realistic descriptions such as: “Binjamin’s memories of Majdanek camp are a series of of terrifying tableaux. Rats crawl from the corpses of dead women, lice run over his face in ‘racing, ticklish streams’, tiny, starving babies chew their own fingers down to the bone”. It is almost impossible for us to know what actually happened to this man due to all of the controversies, and this is when it becomes very difficult for historians to truly understand the past.

When Binjamin Wilkomirksi’s account of his childhood was published in 1995, it was hailed as a classic among Holocaust memoirs. But in 1998, he was denounced as a fraud – his accusers claimed he was born Bruno Grosjean, a gentile brought up by a wealthy Swiss family, and had never been near a Nazi concentration camp.

London’s new Mayor is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma

Embed from Getty Images

The anti Israel mainstream media seem as confused by Sadiq Khan as I am. Like a typical labour politician he has immediately made an issue of gender equality by appointing women to three top roles.

Khan — who promised to “put the fight for gender equality” at the heart of his mayoralty — had already announced his statutory deputy is Joanne McCartney, meaning three of his four deputies are women.

What has bamboozled the media and confused me is his apparent support for Israel. The media support the vicious BDS movement which has cost so many Palestinians their jobs. They cannot understand why Khan would support Israel. If a non-Muslim mayor had done this the press would have ripped him apart but because he is Muslim they are caught between a rock and a hard place. No reporter wants to be accused of racism or Islamophobia, since that is exactly what Khan’s opposition was accused of in the lead up to the election.
What really amuses me is the reporter’s concern that he is not being ‘ inclusive, ‘ because her idea of being inclusive is supporting Muslims not pro-Israel Jews. It is only okay to support minority rights if they are Muslims is the message I get from her article.

What I want to know, is whether Khan is genuinely pro-Israel or whether this is a political attempt to improve the Labour party’s image, given the anti-Semitic scandal that has so recently rocked them? He really is an enigma. One thing I do feel certain of is his ambition. Sadiq Khan has his eye on the leadership of the Labour party and the way he is going he just might achieve it

How One Woman Delivered 3,000 Babies During The Holocaust

Auschwitz had all sorts of facilities, such as sleeping quarters, offices, kitchens and latrines. It also had a “sick ward” where, in atrocious conditions, sick prisoners were looked after by physicians who were prisoners themselves. Anyone who appeared unlikely to get well was killed. Thus the physicians were constantly concealing serious cases by falsifying records to permit a longer stay to those who otherwise would have been sent to the crematorium. Almost all survivors of Auschwitz suffered from typhoid, a disease that qualified inmates for liquidation, but was never reported thanks to the courage of the physicians. They were risking their lives since the punishment for breaking any rule in the concentration camp was death. Auschwitz also had a “maternity-ward.” Many of the women who arrived at the camp were pregnant. They were needed for work; their babies were not. One of the midwives working in the ward was Stanislawa Leszczynska.

When Stanislawa Leszczyńska first became a midwife, she never could have imagined that she would one day be whisked away from her home in Poland, where she routinely walked miles to deliver babies, and into the real-life nightmare of Auschwitz. After the murder of her husband in Poland and the forced removal of her son to another work camp, Stanislawa and her daughter entered Auschwitz with only one hope: that they would survive.

Born Stanislawa Zambrzyska in 1896, she married Bronislaw Leszczynski in 1916 and together they had two sons and a daughter. In 1922, she graduated from a school for midwives and began working in the poorest districts of Lodz. In pre-war Poland, babies were normally delivered at home. Stanislawa made herself available at any time, walking many kilometers to the homes of the women she helped. Her children recall that she often worked nights but she never slept during the day.

After the war, she returned to her job in Lodz. Her husband had been killed in the Warsaw uprising of 1944, but all of her children survived and, inspired by their mother’s example, went on to become physicians. Stanislawa supported their education, earning the family livelihood through a devoted service to childbirth.

In March 1957, as her retirement neared, a reception was organized to commemorate her 35 years in the profession. Her son, Dr. Bronislaw Leszczynski, remarked to her before the reception that she might be asked about Auschwitz. Until that time, she had said nothing about her work in the concentration camp. Her son began taking notes and later, during the reception when all the speeches were over, he stood up and told his mother’s story.

Professor of Hate Hits Own Goal With Hate Speech

Hate Speech research Scott Poynting

Hate Speech researcher Scott Poynting: Likens Sodastream to manufacturer of Zyklon B

I wonder what Islamic shill Susan Devoy is going to say about this…or will she sweep it under the carpet under the guise of academic freedoms.

Shalom Kiwi reports:

Prof Scott Poynting is a scholar of hate crime at the University of Auckland. Sadly ironically, he is also the author of a sickening anti-Semitic letter to the Waikato Times on Nov 28th.

The letter is anti-Semitic primarily because it seeks to draw false parallels between Nazi Germany and Israel and is sickening as the Farben factory referred to in the letter is notorious for making the gas used by the Nazis to exterminate Jews. Such demonisation and delegitimization of Israel not only fails Sharansky’s ‘3-D’ test, the comparison is also explicitly part of the working definition of anti-Semitism for the European Forum and the US State department.

His letter reads “Thank you for explaining in your article how SodaStream generously provided work for Palestinians. I understand that IG Farben provided work for large number of Jews. Not that I have anything against Germans, mind you.”

scott-poynting

IG Farben was a German chemical manufacturing company that held the patent for and made Zyklon-B, the poison used to mass exterminate Jews. The company also used slave labour to speed up production under orders of the SS. Comparing this to SodaStream is obscene and hateful. The implication that Israel is like Nazi Germany is anti-Semitic. The false inference from an academic is inexcusable.

I Will Survive – Concentration Camp version

from Boing Boing

…video of a Holocaust survivor, his daughter, and his grandchildren dancing to Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive at various concentration camp sites throughout Europe. The YouTube comments seem to be split between those who are offended by it and those who are on board with this celebration of survival.

I think this is way cool.

The video author says:

On a recent trip to Europe, a family of three generations (a Holocaust survivor, his daughter and his grandchildren) dance to Gloria Gaynor’s pop song – ‘I Will Survive’ at concentration camps and memorials throughout Europe.

This clip was first edited with the help of my friend Pisithpong Siraphisit who runs Compeung Art Village, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This dance is a tribute to the tenacity of the human spirit and a celebration of life.

Despite the systematic brutality and cruelty endured, we have still survived.
