Jenna Lynch

Does Jenna Lynch even know what she is talking about?

Jenna Lynch has done a spiteful and stupid little piece at Newshub accusing National of a jack up in candidate selection in Mt Roskill.

Here’s some advice – don’t waste your time tuning into National’s announcement of their Mt Roskill candidate.

Spoiler alert: it is Parmjeet Parmar. That was decided long ago by the National Party bosses.

There was no point in any other candidate putting their name forward for Mt Roskill – it was always going to be Parmar.

National is adamant they haven’t chosen their candidate – but the hoardings for Parmar are already flying out of the printing room.

National is adamant they haven’t chosen their candidate – but John Key is posting high-production videos all over social media of himself and Parmar on building sites and celebrating Diwali.

National is adamant they haven’t chosen their candidate – but National has already organised a $250 a head fundraiser with the Prime Minister at Eden Park for her.

That’s three strikes – it is a jack-up.    Read more »

Rabid Right Winger Stuart Nash agrees not to criticise women for their looks

Labour MP Stuart Nash has said sorry to Newshub political reporter Jenna Lynch after telling her she looked as though she’d had a “rough night”.

In a blog, Ms Lynch called out Mr Nash for commenting on her face, which was not covered by any makeup, as he arrived to speak to her at Newshub’s Wellington office.

Opinion: Embracing my bare face
“Labour MP Stuart Nash walked in trying to sell some bloody story about cops. He looked shocked, almost offended at my face,” she wrote.

“‘Gosh, did you have a rough night?’ No I didn’t. Unless you call being curled on the couch watching a movie with my partner a “rough night”.”

Ms Lynch said in her blog Mr Nash should be ashamed over his comments.

“I feel sorry for the women you work with on a day-to-day basis if you hold them to the same standard.” Read more »

The Kiwi that put the 8 yr old drunk on YouTube: Hero or Villain [POLL]

Jenna Lynch and Jonathan Carson have the story of the day today.  They interviewed Bradley Goudie, the 18 year old who recorded the 8 year old boy off his face and made him famous world-wide.  (if you  missed it:  the video is here)

The man who filmed a drunk young boy at a skate park says he would not have released the video if police had acted hard and fast, and communicated that to him.

Bradley Goudie, 18, uploaded a video online which showed a nine-year-old boy at Fairfield Skate Park in Clarkin Rd [Hamilton] on Tuesday afternoon with a can of Cody’s Bourbon and Cola – 7 per cent alcohol.

The boy, who struggles to stand and slurs his speech, says “I’ve been drunk before”. He also says he was given alcohol by his aunt.

Goudie, a professional scooter rider, said he was so shocked by the apparent drunkenness of the boy that he turned his camera on him and exposed what he considered one of the biggest issues in New Zealand – underage drinking.

When he had stopped filming, he immediately rang the police.

I think I would have called an ambulance too.   Read more »
