Kindygate

Kindygate ? murkier and murkier

The cat is definitely among the pigeons following my outing of kindergarten associations.

These guys are running scared after being outed.

I revealed that these ?charities? ? which are closely tied to the NZEI – have over $60 million just sitting in the bank, while demanding half a billion more from the taxpayer and trying to ask parents for higher fees.

Now via the tipline a parent has told of some extremely dodgy dealings at their kindy since I broke this story.

Last week parents?were approached by a kindy teacher and told that they should no longer pay their fees to the local association (which has a few million sloshing around in the bank) ? but instead give the cash direct to the individual kindy coffers ? ?to make sure our kindy gets the money and we don?t have to share it.?

Now, as charities (yeah whatever) ALL funding and donations need to be declared.

So, are they now trying to hide money to continue the rort on taxpayers?

Labour allowed this sector to get away with murder and coin it in for years. They are now bleating about funding changes and using kids for political protests ? all the while with millions gathering interest.

Message to ECE and NZEI ? party?s over.

Kindygate scandal ? at least $60 million in bank accounts, and rort continues

My revelation that Kindergartens are awash with millions of dollars of taxpayer cash ? while screaming with their union mates at the Government for more of my money ? is on the front page of the Herald.

Parents are already asking questions.

No credit given to me, but that is par for the course ? and even more annoying is the fact the story fails to mention that Auckland Kindergarten Association has ten million cash in the bank.

These figures are all in plain view ? and I would encourage other repeaters around the country to have a good look and ask a few awkward questions about the so-called ?charities? in their area, which are taking part in political campaigns.

So in the public interest I?ve had another look at the Charities register -?and picked out a few more juicy stats.

By my reckoning, there is at least $60 million?in kindy association bank accounts ? so why are they asking parents for more money? Why do they want taxpayers to flush an extra half a billion down their toilets? And if they are really charities ? why are they doing the dirty work of the NZEI and using children in anti-government protests?

By the way, most of the returns are for 2011, so don?t give me any bullshit that all the money has disappeared after the government changed the funding rules. From the looks of these well padded accounts not a minute too soon either.
