Liberal Canadian Feminist visits Mosque and gets put in her place

When you think about it the Muslim community does really well because whether a Muslim is a shooter or the victim, liberals fall over themselves to show support for the local Muslim community every time there is a shooting, stabbing or a truck is run through a crowd. Given this kind of unquestioning support you would think that Wynne would be treated really well during the visit but instead, they treated her the way they treat Muslim women much to her shock.

A seven-year-old US boy has been praised for extending a hand of friendship, filled with a US$20 note (NZ$30), to his local mosque after it was defaced.

The Islamic Centre in Pflugerville, Texas, was vandalised on Monday because of anti-Muslim sentiment that had sprung up in the wake of the Paris attacks.

The perpetrators smeared faeces on the building and littered the area with torn pages from the Koran, media outlet KXAN reported.

Oh the conflicting feelings that have come to a focal point here. ?Do I approve of the defacing of the mosque with faeces? ?No. ? Do I think it’s OK to rip the Quran up? ? No. ? ?Is this kid’s heart in the right place? ?Yes.

Face of the day

Today’s face of the day chooses a religion the way some women choose a car. He is influenced by how it looks and how it makes him feel but he fails to look under the bonnet.

He may have been named after the local priest in his Irish hometown but Liam Neeson could be leaving his Roman Catholic beliefs behind.

The 59-year-old actor is said to be considering converting to Islam following a working trip to Istanbul.

According to The Sun, Neeson admitted that Islamic prayer ‘got into his spirit’ while he was filming in Turkey.

A different faith: Liam Neeson, pictured here on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Show this month, is reportedly considering converting to Islam
The call to prayer happens five times a day, and for the first week, it drives you crazy, and then it just gets into your spirit, and it’s the most beautiful, beautiful thing,’ he said.

There are 4,000 mosques in the city. Some are just stunning, and it really makes me think about becoming a Muslim.’

Well I am glad that he really looked into it then. You can tell so much about an ideology by the architecture of their buildings and the way that they pray five times a day ( cough ) If he can be seduced by nice architecture and people on mats 5 times a day constantly bending and stretching perhaps he should consider this instead?

Is this what happened at the Christchurch mosque?

This came in via a trusted source, who says it requires confirmation before it is considered factual

A friend in Christchurch told me about a co-worker of hers (I got no name, he does not want to end up with a fatwah against him). She considers him a morally upright individual.

About 10 years ago he went to the mosque in Christchurch that is making all the news.

He had no interest in converting to Islam, he was simply curious.

I am not sure over what time period he attended the mosque, but he felt sufficiently concerned about what he saw and heard, with regards to extremism, that he went to the NZ Police to ensure they knew what was going on.

He also said that Kiwi converts to Islam were being offered over $30,000.

Paid for by the Saudi’s (I don’t know exactly who, government or charity or quasi-govt-charity).

I don’t know what the provisions or the requirements were to get this payout.

I must admit I am shocked that they are using money.

As someone who takes a great interest in the history of world religions, I had never heard of this.

It strikes me as a flawed method of long-term conversion. Read more »
