My polite e-mail to the Cameron pool in Mount Roskill was blocked for Profane content

To my great surprise, my e-mail to the Cameron Pool in Mount Roskill to ask them some questions about their Muslim Women’s swimming lessons was blocked for profane content. I can only assume that Whaleoil is considered a profane word or perhaps that their profanity filter has submitted to Sharia law like their segregated swimming lessons. Have a read of my e-mail and see if you can spot the profanity.

They think Marine le Pen is their enemy when their real enemy is Islamic law

Image-My Stealthy freedom facebook page

I follow the facebook page My Stealthy Freedom that posts photos of women’s risking imprisonment and even execution for not wearing the compulsory Hijab in Iran. You would think that they would be happy that French politician Marine le Pen refused to wear the hijab when pressured to do so in Lebanon, a country that was once a Christian majority country. Instead, they bemoan the lack of left-wing politicians who are prepared to stand up for their rights as Muslim women. Marine le Pen is right-wing and a strong critic of Islam so her bravery in standing up to the Lebanese Grand Mufti doesn’t count because of her “worrisome agenda” Read more »

Muslim President’s divorce reforms crushed by backward Islamic law

It turns out that it is not just President Trump who is being ankle tapped by legal authorities who think that they have the right to overrule his policies. Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi attempted to promote a” moderate” version of Islamic divorce law and was immediately slapped down by
The Council of Senior Clerics in Al-Azhar who are the highest authority in Sunni Islam and the representatives of Islamic Sharia law.

CAIRO: Egypt’s top Islamic authority on Sunday rejected President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi’s suggestion that legislation be adopted to invalidate the practice of Muslim men verbally divorcing their wives.

It marked a rare instance of a public institution contradicting the president…

Sharia law advocate, organiser of the Women’s March and hater of Israel gets put in her place

Linda Sarsour is everything that I dislike in a woman. As a Muslim activist, she uses the freedom she enjoys in the United States to promote repressive, violent and misogynist Sharia Law by lying about how wonderful it is. One of her selling points is that under Sharia law you don’t have to pay interest on a loan.

She misses out inconvenient truths like needing four male or eight female witnesses before a rape will be recognised legally as a rape. Yes, that’s right ladies, get raped without the required number of  [email protected]##*** witnesses who did nothing to save you and you will get punished by the Islamic legal system for the crime of adultery.

As well as being a deceptive promoter of an anti-democratic system of law inside a democratic country in her spare time Linda is also a hater of Israel with connections to the brutal terrorist group Hamas. Hamas amongst other terrorist crimes sends teenage terrorists into Israel to stab pregnant women, old people and children. Hamas are equal opportunity slaughterers of the innocent you have to give them that.

Linda has also earned my contempt for her promotion of human rights violater supreme and ironic head of the UN Human Right’s committee, Saudia Arabia. Recently, however, she meets her match on twitter and was comprehensively put in her place by none other than Israeli Dani Dayan.

That awkward moment when you realise a Sharia Law advocate organised a Women’s rights march

Did you hear the joke about the paedophile that organised the children’s rights march?

What about the one about the butcher who organised the vegetarian food festival?

My favourite has to be the Sharia law advocate that organised a Women’s rights march…

You’ll also know when you’re living under Sharia law when you get arrested for adultery after being raped. Doesn’t sound very nice, does it?

A Sharia law activist promoting women’s rights is like [email protected]#ing for virginity. It is utterly insane. Under Sharia law, the only rights woman have are the right to be exploited, dominated, controlled and to be valued as having half the worth of a man.

Facebook enforces Sharia Law on Ex-Muslim writer

Twitter is banning conservative voices like it is going out of fashion and now Facebook is enforcing Sharia law on non-Muslims. Outspoken Free Speech advocate Pamela Geller got sick of Facebook enforcing Sharia law and so her organisation filed a  free speech lawsuit against the Department of Justice. She is challenging Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act which provides immunity from lawsuits to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, which allows…

” these social media giants to engage in government-sanctioned censorship and discriminatory business practices free from legal challenge. The sharia restrictions Facebook continues to impose has chilling effect and ramifications especially in countries where such freedoms can make the difference between freedom and submission, life and death.”

Ex-Muslim writer Majid  Oukacha  posted on facebook

What I care about more than anything else is freedom of thought. It is criminalized by the Koran.

He was banned last week from Facebook.

A New Year message to the Muslim world

Dear Muslim world,

We in the West have almost nothing common with you. In the West we view military rule as oppressive and undemocratic but in the Islamic world it is the only protection standing between Muslim citizens and “the tyranny of total sharia law that must be enforced by Islamic theocracies, such as those of Iran and Saudi Arabia.”

We are no longer prepared to sacrifice the security and safety of our citizens in the West for multiculturalism. Multiculturalism only works when it is “a two-way street between people that share common values of respect of each other’s culture.”

Ignorance of Islamic law comes at a huge cost

sharia

I have written an article before about four western women’s experiences of Islamic law.

Now the media and advocacy groups are once again expressing their SHOCK at what has happened to a British woman showing once again their deliberate refusal to acknowledge the elephant in the room which is the misogyny of Islamic law.

The family of a British woman arrested in Dubai for reporting her own rape has launched an online appeal, urging the public and the UK government to help negotiate her release.

The British woman was charged for having extramarital sex after she reported her own rape to police, according to UK-based legal advocacy group Detained in Dubai.

The case has revealed a persistent and deep-rooted prejudice against women in the Gulf state, rights groups say.

“The authorities continue to fail survivors of such violence by treating women who have been raped as criminals, instead of investigating and prosecuting suspected perpetrators,” Drewery Dyke, UAE researcher at Amnesty International said.

“Victims go to (the police) expecting justice, and end up being prosecuted. They not only invalidate their victimisation, they actually punish them for it,”

…The woman’s passport has been confiscated, Stirling said, and she may face trial where punishments can include imprisonment and flogging.

The woman’s family said she was on holiday at the time and was planning to travel to Australia when she was reportedly raped by two British men in Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE.

They left Pakistan to escape Sharia Law but thanks to British tolerance it followed them

Protest in London against the Law Society’s guidance on Sharia Wills April 2014. Photo: Wikimedia Commons

[/caption]

The UK government is conducting an inquiry into the operation of Sharia courts which is being boycotted by a number of women’s organisations

Parallel to this, the Home Affairs Committee has also launched an inquiry into whether the principles of Sharia are compatible with British law.

I cannot believe that they needed an inquiry. Sharia law is clearly not compatible with British law. It is religious law and British law is secular. It is hugely discriminatory against women. There is no equality in Sharia law. It’s punishments are brutal and barbaric and unacceptable in any civilised society. Those who think they can allow a dumbed down, kinder version of Sharia into Britain are deluding themselves. Already this watered down version is hurting Muslim women.

I am a practising Muslim. My faith is central to who I am. I was born in 1947 in Pakistan and joined my husband in the UK in 1965.

…My older daughter, Lubna (not her real name) moved to London in 1994 after the breakdown in her marriage. After the British courts granted her a civil divorce, I hoped that would be the end of our involvement with my ex-son-in-law.

…He visited our local mosque and denounced me to the gathering, saying that I was ‘a loose woman’ who was pimping her daughters. He asked the mosque elders to help him get his children and his wife back to save their morals. A delegation from the mosque visited my home

… they said the English divorce meant nothing and was not valid in Islam.

Does Islam inspire violence?

Background

As a Kiwi who was in New York during 9/11, I’ve since been consumed by the question of how Islam – a religion and therefore presumably peaceful – could possibly be associated with such abhorrent mass murder. Unfortunately, it’s proven impossible to answer on the basis of secondary sources – being a highly-polarising issue, there’s no end of hyperbole and deliberate misinformation on the topic. So I decided the only way to overcome confusion was to study the most sacred text of Islam for myself. I wanted to know whether the words therein could be linked in any way to the brutality inflicted not only by Islamic terrorists but also by Muslim governments enforcing strict Islamic law (Sharia).

Disclaimer: I’m not an expert on Islam so I apologise if anything below is inaccurate. And having been caught up in 9/11 I’m probably biased. On the other hand, I don’t hold strong political or religious views (I’m essentially a mildly liberal agnostic). I have friends from a wide variety of cultures, and over the years I’ve enjoyed the company of several Muslim acquaintances and colleagues. I have no objection to multiculturalism – as an avid traveller I love spending time with people from different backgrounds and I think migrants often bring enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and valuable experience. Nevertheless, I’ve come to the conclusion that while Western countries should continue to welcome skilled immigrants from almost every culture, race, and religion, those committed to Islamic ideology may pose a genuine threat to secular society. That’s just an opinion, though I’ll attempt to justify it with verifiable evidence.
