The Don right again: He would have stepped in

According to a New York Daily News report dated November 20, 1991, when he spotted a “big guy with a big bat” beating on another guy, Donald Trump told his limousine driver to pull over. Witnesses told the paper, that “with [then-girlfriend] Marla Maples tugging at his arm to try to stop him, [Trump] leaped from his black stretch limousine Monday evening during the Manhattan assault.”
The Manhattan billionaire, who was 45 at the time, told the story from there. “The guy with the bat looked at me, and I said, “Look, you’ve gotta stop this. Put down the bat. I guess he recognized me because he said, ‘Mr. Trump, I didn’t do anything wrong.’ I said, ‘How could you not do anything wrong when you’re whacking a guy with a bat?’ Then he ran away.”

Trump added that he saw the mugger deliver “five or six good whacks” before he put a stop to it

Florida shooting: MSM don’t miss opportunity to attack Trump

Weapons locker in mess Photo/ Cam Slater, Whaleoil Media

US President Donald Trump has called the suspect in the mass school shooting in Florida “mentally disturbed” as he vowed to help local jurisdictions tackle mental health issues, but he made no mention of stricter gun control laws.

That’s because stricter gun control wouldn’t have made a difference.

[…]Trump pledged his administration would help “tackle the difficult issue of mental health” and said the issue of improving safety in schools would be the top priority during a meeting later this month with governors and state attorneys general. Yet Trump made no mention of gun control laws in the aftermath of the third-deadliest school shooting in US history.

The shooter passed the background check and didn’t have a criminal record.

Trump and Jerusalem: MSM brings out the big guns

President Trump visited Jerusalem earlier this year and will effectively recognise it as the Israeli capital by moving US diplomats there
EVAN VUCCI/AP

“Supermodel Bella Hadid has condemned President Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

In a scathing Instagram post, the Victoria’s Secret Angel branded the announcement as “absurd, unfair and one-sided”.”

Wow. I never knew that being a supermodel makes you an expert in Middle Eastern politics.

“Hadid’s family has strong ties with the regions. Her father – real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid – is a Palestinian, who was born in Nazareth, and has lived in both Syria and Lebanon.”

And I have strong ties to Britain but that doesn’t make me an expert on British politics.

“Bella said hearing the news made her “cry”.”

Never underestimate the power of Autism

screenshot-whaleoil

When people on the autism spectrum work together there is no limit to what they can achieve. Being on the spectrum myself I know that I can become obsessive when I am working on something I care about and a group of people on 4Chan became obsessed with capturing a protest flag that was flying in an unknown location while on a live stream. Their task seemed impossible yet by working as a team they combined their talents and located the flag within 36 hours using a vast range of techniques.

One of the reasons why people on the Autism spectrum can have trouble finding employment is because they are accused of not being able to work well with others despite their impressive problem-solving abilities and high intelligence. What this capture the flag mission proved is that we can actually work extremely well in a team with like-minded people and a shared goal. I actually think the secret to Whaleoil’s success is the number of people who work here who are on the autism spectrum. Once we set our minds to achieve something heaven help anyone who comes between us and our objective.

Shia LaBeouf’s plan to keep his live stream protest of President Trump going for four years was foiled… – again.

…His livestream feed continued to get crashed… leading him to move to a third location which he kept secret, according to Page Six. Here, the camera was set up only focused on a “He Will Not Divide Us” flag.

But some savvy sleuths managed to crack the code and troll LaBeouf again, with an epic move.

The media has killed any kind of sensible discussion

We all know that 1Law4All is a group of people that are looking to remove any kind of mention of the Treaty in law.   It posits that there are two classes of people in New Zealand:  Maori, and non-Maori.  And it is fairly hard to argue with that as we have a separate electoral roll, separate education and a slow push towards a separate legal system.

How this is Apartheid in South Africa, but natural justice and common sense in New Zealand is hard to explain.

So wanting a country with laws that apply to everyone equally, what sort of person would want that?  Well, if you’re Kim Vinnel, the journo who wrote the opening sentence…

A political movement labelled by some as driven by extreme right-wing racism is upping the ante ahead of this year’s election.

A flyer drop promoting both an anti-separatist book and the 1Law4All Party has angered one Labour candidate…

Wanting a single law for all citizens is now extreme right-wing racism.

Seriously, we have run out of words that make any sense.

So basically, when the indigenous people want one law for all it is just fine.  If white people want one law for all it is extreme right-wing racism.

How did we even get here? Read more »

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

The domino effect of Resolution 2334 continues

UN Resolution 2334 sponsored by the chairman of the security council, Murray McCully, whose strings were pulled by John Kerry and outgoing President Obama, sent a message to the Palestinians that Jerusalem was theirs. Now PLO President Abbas is pulling out all the stops to try to stop incoming President Trump from moving the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Why is he so against it? It is because it sends a strong counter message that the US recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and therefore does not see it as Palestinian land.

Interestingly New Zealand shows its lack of diplomatic respect for Israel by locating its Israeli embassy not inside Israel but inside the Muslim majority country Turkey in their capital Ankara. We recognise the capitals of Muslim states so why don’t we recognise the capital of Israel?

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas sent letters to a number of world leaders on Monday urging them to prevent the stated goal of the incoming administration of US President-elect Donald Trump to move the American embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. to the official PA news outlet Wafa, Abbas sent letters to the heads of Russia, China, France, Germany, Britain, the European Union, the African Union, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the presidency of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Arab League secretary general, “asking them to spare no effort in preventing the US embassy from moving to Jerusalem”

Guest Post: Our world: The PLO’s zero-sum game

Caroline Glick

The opportunity now upon us may be lost forever as the PLO comes back to win its zerosum game against Israel.

Since its inception in the late 1970s, the Israeli peace movement has been based on one thing: hope.
Members of the peace movement hoped the PLO’s war with Israel could be resolved through compromise. Proponents of peace with the PLO hoped that Yasser Arafat and his terrorist minions weren’t truly committed to Israel’s destruction.

The two-state formula was based on the hope that Israel could reach an accommodation with the PLO. To wit, in exchange for parts of Judea and Samaria and Gaza (no one was talking about Jerusalem), Israeli peaceniks, who over time came to encompass all factions of the Left in Israel, hoped the PLO would bury the hatchet, build a state, or federate with Jordan, and that would be that.

In 1992, the peace camp took over the government. Under the leadership of then prime minister Yitzhak Rabin and then foreign minister Shimon Peres, hope became the basis for Israel’s national security strategy. That strategy was followed by every Israeli government since. The basic idea was clear enough. In exchange for land and guns and legitimacy, Arafat and his goons would be domesticated.
